Hey, not posted here too much before. But really liked the look of this RP, so I've also made a character - hope that's okay! Let me know if there's any issues with it!
Full Name: Quinn Nicknames/Aliases: 'Q' Age: 21 Gender: Female Gift: Illusions Loyalty: Liberty Agent (Espionage) Description: Quinn is around 5’6 in height and of a slim build, her musculature is slightly toned though she has no real power to speak of. Her fair skin betrays the fact that she is not one used to physical combat and rather one could say that her scars are more of the mental kind. She appears comfortable in her own body and likes to make the most out of the simple attire that the people of Liberty are used to wearing (though that often proves a difficult feat). Brunette hair falls in waves down past her shoulders, although she often wears it in a ponytail or plait for convenience sake. Bangs cover her forehead, just brushing the tops of her matching eyebrows. Although her eyes are somewhere between green and hazel, she likes to change the colour sometimes. There are also rumours around some of her co-workers, that just one look into her eyes will trap you in one of her illusions (which is completely not true). Only a few freckles cover her face, crossing the bridge of her button nose to land in a splatter across her cheeks. To complete her face, she has a wolfishy white grin which she will often shoot at whoever is on the receiving end of her teasing. Personality: Quinn has seemingly perfect the art of compartmentalisation. Her work requires a level of brutality that not many could reach, inflicting a level of pain and discomfort on others that most would find intolerable. Infact, she takes no pleasure from the ways in which she is made to use her gift, yet you would not be able to tell from her outward behaviour. It is also that skill that makes her perfect for espionage, most often underestimating her abilities or the nature of her gift. Infact, Quinn often comes across as an easy-going sort of person. Relaxed and casual in her mannerisms, she would rather joke around than submit to rigid formalities or procedures. Self-confident, Quinn is not one to doubt herself or her abilities, despite her superiors best attempts. She will often gently toe the line of what is appropriate, testing the boundaries of what others will let her do. Yet compartmentalising her emotions has also caused her to detach from some of them and she is unsure if she can really care about people deeply anymore. And although her natural tendency is of sociability, her move to Liberty has made her distrustful of the people living there and as such there are only a few whom she would ever truly call friends. Skills: Illusion manipulation: the ability to create, shape and manipulate illusions to cause others to experience things which do not exist or to alter their perception of reality. Recently Quinn has been able to stretch this to a psychosomatic level where her target can experience pain or a low level of damage due to her illusions. Invisibility: not invisibility in the strict sense of the word, rather Quinn can manipulate the sight of those around her to render her unseen. Glamoury: the ability to alter her appearance using illusions, simulating a sort of shapeshifting. Though appearing for example, as a bodybuilder, would not give her the strength of one, rather simply the outward look. Weaknesses: In regard to her physical abilities…Quinn has, well, none. Her strength, speed and senses are akin to one of the deceased humans (yuck). Sometimes she gets too caught up in her illusions and can be found sitting alone, seemingly content in her own world. Brief History: ‘Rescued’ from the Ashlands at only six years of age, Quinns recollection of her parents has faded to a dim outline. She knew that they had both been ‘traitors’ as some called them, one from Erubesco and the other Liberty. Why or when they had left, she had no idea. These were not questions that young children tended to ask. She recalled sadness at their passing but no other emotions were attached to their memory. Perhaps they were too painful to recall. A wild, dusty child, she had been taken to Liberty, to live as one of the great many. It was instantly a city that she scorned for its bland monotony and presumption of loyalty. In the Ashlands she had been able to play and live as she wanted, here everything was just that little bit controlled. Screw equality, she wanted freedom. Forced into a system that was completely foreign to her, Quinn was trained to be one of them. And by what must have been shear luck, she somehow quickly begun to rise up the ranks until she became an Espionage agent. Yet she hated her work. She truly did. But what they taught her, would soon be her way out. Other:
