But if there was one thing Wain could rely on, it was that humans are loud, clumsy beasts. Those big ears twitching as that annoying old man zipped around. Turning suddenly, and striking at the air, missing by mere centimeters. It seemed that just being fast wasn't any good against Wain. Maybe he was just that inherently good at fighting? Or maybe it was just that he was born better than anybody else? Because right now, despite the clear lack of training, he seemed completely on point with trying to match Kojiro's motions. To bad Kojiro went from dodging all the time to trying to attack. As the old man placed his foot down, steadying himself to strike at Wain. The feline child struck the ground with his foot. Kicking off, and suddenly taking that short distance and making it even shorter. With Kojiro's longer limbs, he was at a clear disadvantage in point blank combat against the child. Ducking in under that hand, Wain began to punch. And punch. And punch. Aiming a flurry of angry young blows directly at the old man's exposed chest. His tail though, that was the real problem. That sneaky tail had reached out, and grabbed at Kojiro's hand. Despite the difference in size and weight, this means that even if Kojiro tried to run, he'd just be dragging Wain with him. Effectively nullifying that speed difference between them. Was the kid just that smart, or was it instinct? "How dare you think you're as good as me!?" Wain shouted during his attacks. "You're just some Silver Fang wannabe! So just get your own schtick already!"
