His dark brown hair has been cut to regulation length, and on his face is a 5 o'clock shadow. He appears slightly older than he actually is from years of military activity, lines of stress mark his forehead and scars dot his face. On his left forearm is a tattoo of a flaming stormtrooper helmet, written over it is '121st', it is an old tattoo he got in solidarity with some of his old squadmates. His armor is spotless and always expertly organized, a white pauldron on his right shoulder indicating his rank as sergeant. Equipment:

Stormtrooper armor
E-11 blaster rifle
EE-3 carbine rifle
SE-14r light repeating blaster
Thermal detonators
standard issue kit
Psychological Analysis: A calm and composed man, Kavis on the battlefield does not show many emotions. He has a strong tactical mind, with an in-depth knowledge of military tactics. He's a natural fit for his position as squad leader, able to get respect from the troopers under his command. He can perform under stress, and make split second decisions with confidence. In fact his confidence can be considered one of his faults, sometimes crossing over into arrogance. He's an honest man, with a blunt attitude towards matters. He has no qualms with offering criticism or even blatantly calling out his subordinates, though he does this more to inspire them to do better and try harder. Kavis has a streak of stubborness, but he not a total fool and will listen to input from his squadmates. He's seen his close friends and former squadmates die on the battlefield before and does not take such deaths easily, any deaths under his command will certainly haunt him though he will not let this show. It'll simply beat him up inside. He often thinks about past deaths of his fellow Stormtroopers, wondering if he could've done anything to prevent their fate. He vents his stress into cigars, a habit he's been meaning to kick but hasn't gotten around to it. Many of Kavis' thoughts are on his son and his wife, he wonders often how they are faring back on Abregado-rae, if Kylain is growing into a good man. If his son will understand why he had to be away so often. Kavis has a strong opinion of the Empire, seeing them as a force of order and ultimately good in the galaxy. The Republic was corrupt and broken. Backstory: Kavis Vytuia was born on the rough and tumble world of Abregado-rae, a mountainous core world known as a prime destination for smugglers. He was soley raised by his mother, Jynna, a dedicated factory worker who often struggled to pay the bills in their modest home. The young Kavis never knew his father, his mother once told him the man was a traveling smuggler from the Outer Rim who only stayed on Abregado-rae for five months but in that brief time had an intense love affair with her. He only stayed on the world for such a short period because he owed a debt to the Hutt cartels. He never got to see the birth of his son. Kavis hoped one day to meet the man, but doubted he was even alive if he owed money to such a ruthess group. As a child Kavis often got into scuffles with other kids, or got in trouble for minor crimes like theft. Due to how much his mother worked he was rarely at home. He spent a lot of his time on the streets within the capital city, often times just wandering around and finding fun wherever he could. He fell in with the wrong group, getting tangled up in drugs and alcohol, though nothing too hardcore. He'd seen what the most potent drugs did to people, and wanted nothing to do with that. He'd seen too many friends overdose on the hardest stuff before. He barely finished school, not having much interest in academic matters. Shortly after finishing school he joined a small time swoop bike gang, while he was not an amazing racer he was not terrible and it was a decent source of income for a short time. He took part in underground races on Abregado-rae, enjoying the minor fame that came with the victories he recorded. He met a beautiful girl, Wina Typho, who the young Kavis would fall hard for. Life wasn't that bad for a bit, until he crashed his bike, totaled it and shattered his right arm. The fall of the Republic and rise of the Empire ended up affecting Kavis more than he would've imagined. The Imperials came to Abregado-rae, and cracked down on the crime on the world. It was routine for him to hear about smugglers, drug dealers and thieves being taken away in chains by Stormtroopers within the capital. He decided with all of that in consideration to cut his ties to the criminal underworld, and try to make a normal life. Kavis took a job in construction, his relationship with Wina grew closer, and she revealed to him that she pregnant with a child. But neither of them were financially able to properly raise a child, and not give it a harsh childhood like they both had. It was at that moment he thought seriously about enlisting with the Imperial military, Stormtroopers made a good living, and despite the intense dangers it was a career that would allow him to provide for his family like few on Abregado-rae could. He married Wina in a quiet ceremony, with only each of their families and their closest friends in attendance. Two months later his child was born, a son named Kylain. As he held his infant son in his arms Kavis made the final decision to enlist. He had to provide for his family, the Empire brought order, opportunity and peace to his homeworld. He could become a Stormtrooper and make something with his life, make a difference in other's lives. At the age of twenty one Kavis signed up to join the Empire, and was shipped offworld to Uyter where he was placed in the Imperial Academy. The rigorous training was absolutely brutal, other recruits dropped out around him but Kavis stayed course. He showed a talent for combat, posting high marks in blaster training and displayed the fierce determination and valor the Empire desired in its soldiers. His past as a small time swoop racer led to him receiving the nickname 'Swoop', which has been his callsign since then. Kavis was on his way to becoming one of the galaxy's finest, a Stormtrooper. Imperial propaganda in the academy instilled a sense of pride in him in the Empire, it was something he wanted to fight for, he wanted to help bring order to lawless worlds. Especially after seeing how bad things had been on Abregado-rae before the Empire arrived, how the criminals practically ran the cities. How many kids like him didn't make it out of the life of crime. The Empire educated children on the world, gave them more of a future than the Republic ever cared to. The inspired Kavis only worked harder to make it out of the academy and he ultimately did, graduating proudly in the top 10% of his class. The newly minted Stormtrooper was shipped off to the Outer Rim, where he was assigned to the 121st. Over the years Private Vytuia was stationed across worlds, typically doing policing and simple patrolling. It was more dangerous than being stationed in the Mid Rim or the in the Core Worlds, but he was partly thankful for that as it was at least a bit exciting. There was nothing like taking down some scummy slavers or drug traffickers. Insurrections were occasional, though they were never anything major. Simple riots or at worst, minor uprisings that always ended in the revolutionizes losing brutally. In these small conflicts Kavis nerveless showed a penchant for tactics and command, effectively offering tactical advice and suggestions to his superiors. This, along with his fierce and loyal service would be what would lead to his promotions over the years. When allowed shore leave Kavis would always return to Abregado-rae to see his family. He tried as much as he could to see his son as the boy grew quickly. He wanted to be in Kylain's life, not like his own father who was never in his life. But, life as a Stormtrooper often took priority and Kavis spent most of his years in the Outer Rim. Though he'd always send his credits home, even setting up a college savings for Kylain. A few months ago he was raised to the rank of sergeant, and granted command of his own squad. Kavis has pledged to be a strong leader, though finds himself about to be embroiled in some conflicts that will test both his leadership and will.
