Ann is usually relaxed, at peace, and knows how to appear self-confident, even though she isn’t the type to believe strongly in herself. Her serious neutral expression and dedication to her set goals are what prevent others from being able to term her laid-back or easy-going. She is rather easy to talk to and generally enjoys company, though tries to avoid drama and isn’t often interested in gossip. Kat is consistently polite, does her best not to judge others, would describe herself as a good listener, and has just enough genuine interest in others that she has not yet suffered for friendship. Katrin is actually a bit of a hot-head, though she believes to have enough good sense for that not to be a problem. She believes in the concept of second chances, but her vindictiveness, stubbornness, and cynicism may prevent her from putting that ideal into practice.

Standing at 5’8 and slim, Katrin’s appeal is only added to by her striking green eyes, a developed fashion sense, and a seemingly thoughtless grace and ease of movements. Even when feeling stressed or tense, her posture and expression rarely reveal her discomfort. Her seemingly cool and aloof demeanour when alone is an interesting contrast to her easy smiles, encouraging attitude, a rather intent focus on whomever she is speaking to, and general amiability when in company. When it comes to clothing, she prefers darker colours, trademark sneakers, enjoys patterns, and will often wear one of those pretty silk decorative scarves around her neck.

[*][i][b]Meditation:[/b][/i] self-taught, she learned to meditate initially just so she would be able to fall asleep more easily. Kat can now reliably de-stress almost whenever if given at least 15 minutes to herself.

Ann was born in west Germany to somewhat over-protective but loving parents (Lucas and Aline), an older sister Elise she’d always admired, and even got a cute little brother, Timon. Her life was generally a good one; it may have been cut short, but up until then, there weren’t many tragedies to affect her heavily (ending a good friendship in a conflict and her grandmother’s death were the worst ones). Although it would be fair enough to say she was blessed with many things, she always strived to work hard and give back to the world just as much as she received from it, if not more. She eventually enrolled and became a student of business – she was never passionate about the subject but realized it would be useful. She had, perhaps naively and impulsively, decided that it was perfectly fine to simply get [i]whatever[/i] employment, work hard for the sole purpose of being able to play hard. She wanted some success, some adventure, and some travelling; in short, a fun and purposeful life. Katrin may have died sooner than most, but is only mildly bitter about that, feeling predominately optimistic about the new world she finds herself in, whatever its nature.
