Amethyst for defense, sodalite for spiritual clarity, gypsum for banishing evil- all were ground up and placed in a little thumb pouch. Next was a few drops of lavender oil for peace and a dash of crushed sage to protect against possession. The whole mess was well shaken, and then hung from a pentacle pendant. All Ivy had to do now was place a little energy into the charm- elementary for any witch. She could feel the protective power flowing through the crystals.

The half-demon took out her cell phone. “Hey, Ly. Made an amulet for you. Won’t protect against anything big, but should keep the lesser demons at bay. Come on by my place- I’ll make you dinner, too.”
