The alien was surprised that Sam could attack after his own barrage of attacks, However he was glad Sam would be more resilient then he though which meant he was quite strong. Pulling his arms and hands to try and block his flurry of punches and kicks, Some of them were blocked but most of them were connecting him making Colda spit out blood. His guard suddenly went down and being sent flying back onto the hard floor of the arena, The ki blast came towards him deflecting some of them but getting hit by a few of them sending him into the hurt locker for sure.

In the large billow of smoke made by the ki blast he shot his own ki blast into the ground and  came form the smoke, And in front of Sam to created a sort of smoke screen in front of him to also block his view. Hopefully Sam's vision would be blurred so Colda could speed though the smoke, Moving though the smoke and giving his own flurry of attacks. Trying to hit Sam in his throat, ears and kidney and finishing it off with a hard slap to his face with his tail.
