No, I don't think the level gains are unrealistically fast. i think they make sense. i'd rather you not be stingier because tbh I honestly think I spend enough time writing about training sessions haha so i'm good there! i guess... well i have no idea. i just assumed we're not allowed to level up during the time skip because that would be broken, but it also feels unfair to dan's character that he falls behind his rival just because irl I want a timeskip xD

so... I dunno. I guess I can tweak my headcannon a bit for the sake of not dragging anyone behind!

[@TheForgottenArc] we can still do a day where they travel to see Dan's mother, however! we totally should, seeing as it's clearly an important aspect of his char!
