This means that she can heal damaged or withered organisms, wounds, broken bones, low vitality, and diseases/poisoning. However, the afflicted must be alive, even if just barely, for her ability to work. If the afflicted is, or has died, it would transcend healing and require resurrection. • Limitation(s) | There are several limitations to Ivy’s ability. Though she can heal others relatively quick, when it comes to healing herself, it takes a little more time. Though it is possible. In order for her ability to work, she has to have some sort of physical contact with the afflicted. She cannot heal someone that has died. She can make quick easy things, as well as harder, more time consuming things. Ivy also love to bake. As a girl with a constant sweet tooth, she can make cakes, pies, cookie and the like. Her skin is the color of Ivory, sprinkled with a healthy dose of freckles. Her eyes are a forest green with random nrown spots in them, and her hair is a natural ginger, falling to her mid back. She has a bit of a pear shaped figure, small feet (a size 6 in womens), and has a healthy muscle mass for her size. Her nose is narrow, but fits her heart shaped face perfectly.
[sub] Character Synopsis[/sub] [sub][sup]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/sup][/sub]
Ivy practically grew up in Crestwood, her family having moved there when she was 3 or 4. Her mother, Irene, worked long hours at the hospital as an OR Nurse. Her father, Logan, was a firefighter, also working long hours. Needles to say, her grandmother, Joan, watched after her most of the time. Teaching her how to cook, how to sew, helping her with her homework. The woman was practically a second mother to Ivy. Despite that, she often felt alone, having no siblings and no friends. At least, not until she met Noah, the boy that lived next door to them. The pair quickly became inseparable, and we're hardly ever seen apart. They could always be found playing in the rain, running around the yard, or just about anything kids did. Unfortunately, their fun didn't last. The pair slowly started to drift apart. Increasingly so, when Ivy discovered she wasn't quite as normal as she thought she was. Around the time Ivy was in middle school, Ivy discovered that she had the ability to heal wounds. It happened, when her grandmother had gotten into a nearly fatal car accident on her way home from the store. A younger man had swerved to avoid hitting a cat that had ran into the middke of the road, and ended up hitting Joan head on. She had spent months in the hospital, Ivy visiting her everyday she could. On one such day, Ivy had been sitting beside her grandmother, holding her hand while she slept. Her eyes kept glancing at a particularly bad bruise around her eye. It was terribly dark, and when her eyes were open, the white, was red. Eventually, Ivy’s eyes rested on the bruise, thinking, wishing it would go away. Seconds later, Ivy felt a sharp pain in her eye. She reached her hand up to touch around it, but immediately pulled her hand back. It was extremely sensitive to the touch. When she looked back at her grandmother, she noticed that the bruise was slowly disappearing. In disbelief, Ivy looked closer, and sure enough, it continued to fade. But the pain in her own eye got worse. She immediately released her grandmother's hand and raced to the bathroom, examining herself in the mirror. Sure enough, her own eye was bruised, while her grandmother's was nearly gone. Of course, questions rose at home and school, and unable to lie, Ivy told people what had happened. Some of them thought she was full of shit and asked if her dad had beat her, while others left her company completely, knowing what she told them was true. It was out now. She was one of the Hypers, and she lost friends left and right. Until one particular day after school. Ivy had been in a sour mood, having been sick of the kids at school. People she had been friends with for years, suddenly just decide to abandon her because she has some special ability. They were acting as if she never existed now. She was out for a walk, when a dog crossed paths with her. At first, she was cautious of him. He was beautiful, no doubt, but a strange nonetheless. When she realized he was as friendly as could be, and didn't seem to have a home (As he always seemed to come and visit her), she named him Shadow, for his dark fur. Day after day, the dog would come sit with her, or walk with her, and she would talk to him as if he were a human. She began smiling more and dismissing the way things at school went, something easier said than done. Nearly out of high school, a new program came along. The Hyperhuman Social Conscience Program. It was mostly out of curiosity that she decided to join. Ivy was skeptical that there was anyone that would/could help people like her, but she joined anyways, filled with the slightest bit of hope.
[sub] Personality[/sub] [sub][sup]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/sup][/sub]
Ivy is normally a quiet, reserved individual around people that she doesn't know. However, around those that she does know, she is lively and spunky. She loves to laugh and let loose when appropriate, and loves a cheesey joke as much as the next person. Ivy hates confrontation, but will try her best to handle things in a peaceful manner before resorting to any violence. Despite that, she's the sort of person that always tries to find the good in everyone, even when they've given her reason after reason to believe there Jan any.
