EDIT: Also I was thinking, when we do the part where Crow gets called to see his father, maybe the messenger is John? I know we talked about having their histories kinda intertwine with how their parents met at the same time and all so I thought it could be interesting! 
I imagine Albin would send John mainly because I believe John would know he had a child out there somewhere anyways (I imagine he would have known about Crow's mom and her situation up until the point where she left to Myrefall since Lillianna would have still been alive during that but lost touch once she moved. Also I could imagine John mildly confronting him about the rumors he spread at one point) so he might actually trust John with helping deal with his scandal since he's kept quiet about it all these years anyways cx 
[s]plus Albin could just be a bit of an ass and want John to help handle his problems when John would clearly be against it[/s]
Just an idea though cx Either way I think it'll be interesting to see how Crow and John get along once everything comes to light
