Arlo The man on horseback caught his eye, he stuck out like a sore thumb in the crowd of people. A suit, like a knight, but he hadn't seen him before in Wanderneir. And something about his horse-- The sun had not even dipped below the horizon when he heard the commotion, at first he thought it might just be a scuffle between some rowdy townsfolk and the guards trying to send them home. But then he distinctly hear the words "someone please help", and it was decided he had to investigate. He instinctively throw his hood and headpiece on over his head and took off running in the direction of the noise. The cobblestone road made his feet ache as they fell, as he was more used to the soft soil under his feet. Arlo was as fast on his legs as his father, in comparison to the average human Arlo was lightning quick. He turned a corner where he noticed people fleeing from and then he saw it ahead. A woman, already set upon by some sprites, and the sun hadn't even set yet. The issue was getting much worse as time went on, and he had to act fast to save not only her but to find the source of the infestation. The low light in the shade of the buildings must have caused an early rising from this particular group, but that wouldn't change their aversion to bright light. Knowing what spell exactly to cast, he charged towards the woman and called out to her. "Cover your eyes!" He shouted, just before stopping his trot and held out out his palms. The bone gear he wore shown brightly as he murmured an incantation to himself and a ball of shimmering white light metabolized from his hands, quickly expanding outwards and eviscerating the sprites that had attacked. The flash might have nearly blinded Arlo himself, had it not been for the enchanted skull headgear protecting him from any misfires. Winded from the excitement, he approached the woman and removed his hood. "Are you okay?"
