The knight was glad that the rest of the day went by peacefully. The last thing they needed was something going wrong right when they were about to reach the border. As they found a spot to stop for the night, she dismounted the stallion and watched William step away from them to go scout around the area. She turned her head to look over at Crow as he slipped his arm around her waist. She leaned in to meet him as he pressed his lips to hers. She leaned into his side as he held her close, still being careful of his wound. "Me too." She mumbled with a sigh. She leaned up and kissed him again, this time a bit more deeply as she wanted to make the most of their time left together as well. Penelope pulled back and rested her head against him. "It'll go by quick though and then we'll be able to stay together for years." She said trying to be optimistic. Penelope turned her head as she noticed approaching footsteps. She spotted William returning from his scouting. The older knight looked over at them, narrowing his gaze at their closeness but otherwise remaining silent. "Area appears to be clear for now." He went on to grumble. "Penelope, you can take the first watch." The female knight nodded her head. "Alright." William moved to settle down across the clearing from the two, clearly tired and ready to relax. Penelope turned back to Crow and gave a small smile. "You should probably try and get a little bit of sleep before you go." She whispered to him. "I can wake you up once it's time."
