Alright, so I've finally come up with a basic idea for a character, but just wanted to run it by you.

Basically, he was your standard dumb delinquent whose unusually good muscle memory and attention to small details made him great at fighting, but he failed out of or got expelled from a few different high schools, eventually getting kicked out of the house, and wandered around until he eventually got to a shinto shrine. The priest decided to let him stay there for a little while, and after about a month, he started feeling guilty for leeching off the shrine and offered to help out. About five years pass depending on how early into high school he and his family gave up on it, and the now twenty-two year old is actually on the way to becoming a proper shinto priest, although he's still an impulsive fighty idiot with vices-a-plenty. Then he dies through as of yet undetermined circumstances, and gets reincarnated as an Oni, the pinnacle of impulsive, angry hedonists, and shenanigans ensue.
