[@TheForgottenArc] Id assume that smaller ki blasts would be fine where as bigger attacks along the lines of finishing moves would be too powerful to be completely absorbed before damage is inflicted. So while a standard ki blast may be absorbed, Big Bang attack is still going to turn you into dust.

Also as a side note, as you’ve chosen the energy absorption model of android I’m sure that means he’ll need to absorb energy regularly to keep up his power level. So it’ll be interesting to see how he goes about that.
