Hm, Imma reuse an older character concept. It's time I get some angst in this RP.
Name: Eito Takahashi Age: 21 Gender: Male Race: [s]pure blooded[/s] human Personality: Eito seems like a nice guy. He's to be able to 'fit in' with practically everybody he bothers to hang out with, and most people might describe him as compassionate, caring, and empathetic. That, however, is not the case at all. Eito is not compassionate, and is only 'empathetic' in the sense that he can understand how people are feeling and what they want. At his core, Eito is a person prone to bouts of envy and extreme bitterness. He is a perfectionist that constantly tries to find something else to blame for his shortcomings, and constantly compares himself to other people; even should this aforementioned 'something else' represent something completely insane and outlandish. He is known, for example, to rationalize his failures (because it can't be his fault) by seeing the world as almost a... narrative of sorts. Believing that some people are 'favored', chosen by reality itself to prosper, and that less important 'side characters', like him, are cast aside to rot on the sidelines no matter how hard they work and how much of their time they invest into their lives. He truly thinks that someone, 'the author' of this narrative, is behind every person he meets, every interaction he participates in, every development that occurs in his personality, and that it's this 'authors' fault he's not getting the glory, attention, and talent he deserves. Background: Eito Takahashi was born a single child in a very rich, very prosperous family in Japan. Naturally, as the sole heir to inherit the family company, they wanted him to be the best, they wanted him to be infallible. Hundreds of Thousands of dollars were thus spent to ensure his growth, from his height to his body type, to be perfect; and millions more were invested into only the most highly regarded of instructors - from politicians, to university professors - to groom him into the most accurate depiction of 'perfection' this world has ever seen. And it worked amazingly. Eito let not a single penny go to waste. 'A prodigy' they would soon begin to call him; a machine, an intricate set of clockwork. He could seemingly perfectly deliver and stay perfectly consistent with anything he tried his hand at. Anything he couldn't do on the first try he would learn within minutes, and anything he couldn't grasp within minutes he would master in a few short days. Even socially; he could talk, have fun, and 'fit in' with nearly any group he bothered to interact with. His words were like honey, and with a mere articulation of his visage and a little body language, he could to convince even the most un-trusting of individuals to spill their deepest, darkest secrets. . Those were his golden years. Back then, everybody would respect and some would even fear him for his intellect and social ability; he was a dark horse, a force of nature, untouchable, infallible, and unrivaled... ... ... But then he met her. Alex was her name. Full name Alexandria Houston. An immigrant from the UK. She had golden hair; a slim, almost fragile figure; and a cheap pair of glasses. She was nice enough, he could see that she genuine person, he didn't have to be socially inclined to tell that she was hopelessly naive one too. He remembered her well. ... But that wasn't what mattered. No. What mattered was where he was a prodigy, she was an honest to god genius. She learned to read and write Japanese fluently within a month; and had apparently - even with a limited understanding of the language and a completely average childhood- achieved more academically than Eito had his whole life in a single. Year. A single. Goddamn. Year. Even with all of the resources invested into his being, the countless hours he spent in his childhood to be groomed into perfection, this woman, Alex, a young girl with a completely mundane upbringing, completely blew him out the water. He had wealth, upbringing, a vastly superior studying habit, yet he was somehow, he was still... inferior to her. Eito could not make sense of her. It was like someone had written her that way, it was like she was a goddamn literary device. It felt like the universe itself was flipping him off. And Eito hated that. He hated Alex with all his heart, he despised her with every fibre of his being. He wanted to not only surpass her, but to break her, to ruin her life, he wanted her to hate him as he hated her... ... Yet.. even so, beneath all that hate and bitterness, there was something strange developing. It was not love, lord no, but a strange rendition of infatuation, a twisted iteration of respect. Little did Eito know, Alex had become a bigger part of his life than he had initially thought. -------- Janurary 5th, 2015 was the date of Eito's death. He walked to university as he always did, by Alex' side. luckily, in spite of her genius, Eito was still more inclined socially than Alex was; he had convinced her long ago that he was her 'friend'. They talked as they always did, Alex discussing her research projects, and Eito nodding along with a 'genuine' smile on his face. It was then, as they crossed the road, however, that an opportunity presented itself, unveiled itself. He could see it coming from a mile away, he hadn't actually been paying any attention to the conversation, he could avoid it easily. Alex? Alex could not. She was yelling passionately at him, describing the implications of her newest invention, too absorbed in her work to notice even the van headed her way. It was then that Eito felt power like no other. He was judge, jury, and executioner. At this very moment, all his problems could be solved; he could make Alex disappear, make her perish, on a whim. Despite her seemingly impossible talent, no amount of genius would save her from a 6 ton box of steel, rubber, and explosion hitting her 70 miles per hour. She would die in an instant; her rib cage would cave in, her cranium would shatter, and her spinal cord would snap in 3 different places. All he had to do was stand still. All he had to do was not say anything... ... Except, somehow, he couldn't. Even as a grin worked up his face at the very thought of Alex dying, even as his mind screamed for him to stop, even as it cursed him for his foolishness, his body moved on its own and pushed Alex out of the way... Eito could only express his fury in the form of an expression of pure, undadulterated rage for a fraction second before the vehicle hit him. ... BOOM ... The van was merciless. It slammed into his body, rupturing all his organs, sending a shock into his system like no other. His head snapped to the side, eviscerating all the vertebrae in his neck, and his legs bent the wrong way, the bones in his knees powderized. He couldn't even feel any of his body breaking, the van had impacted with him head first, turning it into an unrecognizable smear in a fraction of a second. He was sent flying back, his body tumbling a good 6 meters before hitting a lamppost, denting it and forcing him into the ground, where he lay, dead. Gift: - Something pertaining to parasitism or swarms ('super-organisms'). Quirks and Perks: - ACTING: As indicated by his personality and his backstory, Eito is a damn good actor. He can articulate his face to form almost completely genuine facial expressions, control his body-language to an extreme degree, take on a whole plethora of accents, and can seemingly switch personalities on a whim. One second he's a plucky teenager rife with altruism, the next he's a drug addict desperate for his next hit. - ETIQUETTE: Eito's family was rich, he's spent his whole life interacting with rich people. - 'EMPATHY': Eito can easily tell what a person wants to hear, and how they're feeling. - CHARISMA: A combination of Eito's acting skills and his empathy makes him a charismatic man. A very, very charismatic man. Equipment:
