What authority did she have to say what the number one priority was? She wasn't even a member of the X-Men - she was the condescending S.H.I.E.L.D. agent that was too damn busy to get off her high horse and actually help. Case in point, she was standing there talking and not even bothering to do anything about the last Sentinel. Guin was having similar thoughts - she had to listen the entire damn way back and forth from Stark Tower to Nina complaining about Mary's leadership and implications that amounted to I would be better. Apparently, better meant just standing around like a dumbass. "Miss Stark, it appears Atomic Number 67 is malfunctioning," P.H.I.L. observed. F.R.I.D.A.Y chimed in a few words of agreement, though with a far thicker accent. "Yeah, got that buddy," Guin told her A.I., as the Sentinel started to malfunction rapidly and her eyes widened. She tried to fly towards it, but she wasn't fast enough. Nina had been closer than she was and Guin swore as the lasers fired off. The first one hit Nina and she couldn't help but feel a bit of grim satisfaction from that. Folly laughed. She wasn't scared of what the lasers would do to her, if they hit her. She could heal from them easily - it was the others that had to be careful. "Damn it, Nina, you were the closest!" Damon shouted, stress, anxiety, anger, and rage compounding to make him more vocal than he had been lately. After Nina took a relatively soft hit, Guin took the next one, her suit sparking and the targeting systems going down as she was knocked from the air and hit the wall, before finally sliding down to the ground. Her entire body was aching, but if it hadn't been from the suit, her spine likely would have been shattered. Folly stopped laughing once Mary was hit, her eyes widening as she ran over to her friend. Thalia had the Sentinel handled thankfully and Folly was panicking, sliding as she knelt down next to Mary. The raspy breaths and the blood looked horrible. Ripping off her jacket, Folly made it into a makeshift bandage, before she looked at Damon. "You! You're the one they call the Battle Nurse, right? Well, nurse Mary NOW!" Folly snapped. Damon nodded, struggling to recall his dragon tattoo but he managed it and he (somewhat reluctantly) resumed battle nurse duties, running over to Mary. "Marygold, can you hear me?" Meanwhile, Guin flipped the face visor up, looking as Muscles came over. She smiled slightly, but she still felt incredibly worried about her Pietro. Surely, he would have shown himself by now, right? "...I'm fine, just a little black and blue," she said, wincing as she shifted. The systems in the suit were damaged but she started doing the manual commands to take the individual pieces off. "You sure?" Guin nodded. "Yeah, it's loads of fun - my favorite game: get the suit off before a critical system overload." "...Why did you even put the damn thing on?" She slowly managed to get the suit off, climbing out of the sparking and dented metal contraption. She was a bit relieved to not be wearing a suit of metallic armor around Magneto anyways. "....Because I'm nothing without the suit." It was true, at least in her mind - her mutation was a parlor trick. It didn't have any practical applications. "No, you aren't, do not use that damn suit again, you'll get yourself killed in it." "What? No way! I can't keep up with you guys without it! I don't have useful powers!" she snapped. Everyone else on the team had amazing powers - even Allison, who originally had a non-combative power too, now was a powerful telekinetic. Carolina was able to possess people from a distance and didn't risk killing herself if her host died. Guin believed that she was the weakest link of the team. "...Trust me, you do have a useful ability, whether or not you see it is a whole other thing." "Alright, then go on, tell me all about how my ability is useful fighting freaking Sentinels." "...Not useful in fighting robots... My powers are only useful in really running away from them if I don't want to break anything..." he said, motioning to his broken leg, along with several other injuries. "My powers have no freaking use anywhere! So yeah, I'm going to wear the damn suit that way I can help and fight with everyone else - to make the same risks everyone else is!" Had her Uncle Steve been there, he would have been a bit proud. It was almost an identical speech to what he had given the enlistment office back in the 1940's, as to why he wanted to fight. "Your powers, and you as a person are more useful than Nina," he said, lowering his voice so that only she could hear him. "....That's easy to say, the bitch is as useful as an umbrella in a hurricane," Guin muttered. She crossed her arms slightly only to wince. While they were just bruises, they were deep and plentiful, all over her body. "I have to agree with you on that one..." he admitted. "Yeah, so comparing me to her means nothing." "...You are still more than just a suit, now whether or not you see that is something else entirely..."

Dean Kesseli

Location: OMEN Facility - Cell Block (Area 51, Probably)

Dean noticed the look Charlie was giving him and he wanted to deck the kid across the face, just to see if it'd get him to pay attention. While he was normally relatively carefree and easygoing, Charlie's way of just sort of floating through life was starting to anger him. However, dealing with people like him wasn't worth it and they just straight up didn't have the time for it, so he elected to just ignore Charlie for the rest of eternity - however long that ended up being. "I meant a vision from earlier, Ally," Dean clarified. He didn't know what Ally had seen. And he doubted she'd feel the need to give him a list of all the visions she had had in her life. His eyes widened slightly as Thalia healed Richard's bullet wound using time manipulation, yet at the same time, he couldn't help but feel a bit resentful she had used her powers on that. While it would save his life, had it just doomed the rest of them? It seemed like Thalia didn't have a lot of power left...if she had used it all on Richard, it might have bought the Adder more time and stolen that time from the rest of them. His jaw dropped seeing some familiar faces be put into the cells with them. "Hey man! What the hell happened? Is everyone else okay? Are the others here too or is it just you three?"
