Devrin is of average height at 5'9" and clocks in at a healthy 165 lbs. He lacks any sort of noticeable scars, and mostly just seems like just another rugged hunter out to make his way in the world. 

Personality: Devrin is a hunter with something to prove, but he also understands that death would be detrimental to achieving that goal. As such, he doesn't often act without at least having a rough idea of how to tackle a particular situation. He is not a prideful man, and is completely capable of working with other hunters, and is actually quite laid-back and even cracks jokes. Despite all this, any grievance carried out against him will be remembered for quite some time and he is slow to forgive. As long as you stay on his good side, he is a loyal friend who will always have your back. 

His weapon of choice is the charge blade for its versatility, offering a strong defense as well as devastating damage.

History: Being from Kokoto Village, Devrin's childhood was filled with stories of mighty hunters performing astounding feats of strength and skill. Enthused by these tales the young Devrin was determined to become a hunter himself, a goal which he achieved through hard work, training, and determination. However, he quickly found the life of a hunter to be underwhelming. Well, at Kokoto at least. The Hunter's Guild had more than enough hunters to go around and swiftly put down any particular nasty beasts as soon as they stepped out of line. Because of this, Kokoto Village was really not under any major threat and Devrin's duties consisted mostly of pest control. How was he supposed to become like one of those mighty hunters he had heard so much about if he never fought anything bigger than an Arzuros or Velocidrome?

His chance came when he caught wind of rumors that the Guild had discovered a new land and were looking for volunteers for an expeditionary force to go check it out. Without a moment's hesitation Devrin quickly volunteered. This would be his chance to make his mark on the world. He would finally have a real challenge before him and a whole island of monsters to take on. This was the chance he had been waiting for.

Name: Swiper

Species: Kula-Ya-Ku

Gender: Male

Habitat: Desert and Forest. Actual den located in desert closer to the swamp where the desert is milder.

Personality: His behavior matches that of the rest of his species for the most part, but he has been known to be a tad bit more curious than the average Kula. If he sees something particular unusual or interesting he will grab it and take off with it to study it closer in the safety of his little den. If he likes it he'll keep it. If he doesn't like it the item in question will be taken and dropped off away from his home in some random location. 

Appearance: He is just a plain old Kula-Ya-Ku with no distinguishing features. For now.
