[sub][color=00aeef]Physical Description[/color][/sub][indent]A touch on the shorter side at 5’8, Dae-Hyun makes up for his lack of vertical presence with a swaggering gait and cheeky smile, often evolving into a bright grin. His chocolate coloured hair flicks up here and there in lazy cow-licks, and narrowed, similarly toned eyes sparkle with untold mischief. Tanned and sun-kissed, Dae Hyun holds masculine form, enough to suggest he’s a fan of practising a sport or two. While in public, he buys into stylish brands and labels, but rumour has it his true fashion sense, the one kept hidden in great secrecy, shrouded in mystery, is… in a word, lame.[/indent]
[sub][color=00aeef]Personality[/color][/sub][indent] Dae Hyun likes to think of himself as a cool, rugged, brotherly type. However, his inability to stay particularly serious and penchant for messing around swiftly shoots him in the foot. At heart he is a child. With this ceaseless sense of fun, however, there are inklings of maturity, particularly in closer friendships (although maybe that’s his wish to be more mature.) Left to his own devices, he can be a bit of a work shirker, and if he can’t find ways to make a game of something, Dae Hyun struggles to flourish. At his worst, it wouldn’t be inaccurate to call him a bit shallow and concerned with appearances more than the substance of a person. [/indent]

•	Loves video games, has invested a lot of time and energy into boosting his internet connection.

•	Selfie obsessed, will take a picture with anyone he deems good enough to be seen with him.

•	Has a cat called Bae that he adores. He thought it was female when he adopted it, but he was wrong. It was too late to change the name, however.

•	Despite his spontaneous nature, hates being caught off guard (visitors, socially, ect.)

•	Despises football, due to a very tame incident involving his nose and a wayward ball.

•	Suits make him uncomfortable, almost visibly so. Like throwing a wet towel on a fire.[/indent]

[sub][color=00aeef]Biography[/color][/sub][indent] Dae Hyun was never truly given the chance to grow up. After a cruel natural disaster shook his family, his older sister took on much of the burden of running a household. Dae Hyun’s focus for many years was studying, which he did with a tired, dogged determination.  He made friends easily but failed to make the right kind of friends. Despite this short-coming, it never dampened his enthusiasm for following in his big sisters’ footsteps, to hold a military career, something that she greatly opposed.

Thus, he was dragged (or more accurately, sent) screaming and hissing to the small island of Erusea to live with his uncle, where the two do not see eye-to-eye. Dae’s big city nature conflicts with his more rural uncles’ values, and with his unwillingness to get a job, an application was hastily sent, with a CV to do anyone proud.

Dae Hyun was silently horrified.

However, the ambition of wearing his big-boy shoes and continuing his swiftly (and perhaps unfairly) cut-down education, was certainly attractive to Dae-Hyun. Perhaps he could make the worst of a bad situation, perhaps he could prove to his sister back home that yes, dammit, he was prepared and ready to choose what he wanted to do!... and failing that, she couldn't stop him if it was HE who held the purse strings...[/indent]
