Penelope clenched her jaw as she fought with the Younisian knights alongside Gavin. He was locked in a fight with one of the enemies, unintentionally leaving her to have to deal with the other two. Out numbered, the female knight felt one of their attacks make contact with her arm. She winced and used her sword to block another oncoming attack. However the swords never met as the Younisian knight suddenly crumbled as someone else attacked from behind. Penelope froze for a moment as she came to face Crow. Her gaze traced over him, subtly eying the bloody daggers in his hand. A lot could change in two years and she was beginning to realize just how much. She felt a little uneasy as she watched him leave to move onto the next fight, leaving her to wonder just how much of the man she once knew was still left. "Hey you ok?" Gavin asked her as he finished off the remaining knight and faced Penelope. Penelope, snapping out of her original shock, turned to look over at Gavin. "I'm fine." She assured him quietly realizing that he was asking about the wound on her arm and not her run in with Crow. The two knights moved on to aid a couple more villagers from beingg attacked by Younisian knights. It was at that time Penelope realized that the second force of Brerratic knights had arrived and were beginning to drive the Younisians back to the border. She moved to follow the other knights as they gained the upper hand in the battle yet again. As they moved away from the village, she glanced over her shoulder, looking back on the state of the village as well as scanning for any last sight of Crow, whom she had lost track of after her ran back into battle. "That was Crow.. Wasn't it?" Gavin asked her in a hush whisper. Penelope blinked and looked over at him. "I'm not sure..." she lied. "I only saw him for a second.." Wanting to get away from the topic at hand, she looked back ahead and watched as the battle began to die down as the Younisians retreated. "Thank the gods that's over" she breathed quietly to Gavin.
