A small wave of relief washed over her as Crow stepped inside. Her heart fluttered nervously as he moved to sit down across from her and she began to think over ways of bringing up what she had seen on the battlefield. Since they were so distant now, she wasn't quite sure how to approach asking him about it or how to even phrase it. However, before she could even say anything he was the one that finally broke the silence. She paused at his question. Penelope looked across at him and raised an eyebrow as he tried to get straight to the point. For a moment, she considered just answering him. Perhaps it was wise to keep things strictly business. Her fingers drummed thoughtfully on the table. No. I need to know.. She thought to herself. Even if he proved to be the opposite of what she was hoping for, the knight had to find out. "Well I found out that you can fight for one." She spoke with accusation in her voice. Penelope grimaced, immediately regretting the tone of her voice. She didn't want to offend him or start an argument. The knight let out a small sigh and looked over at Crow from where she sat. "Sorry.. I didn't mean it like that.. It just caught me off guard." She said in a softer tone. She averted her gaze away from him, finding it becoming more difficult to meet his gaze as she spoke. "Look, I-I think I understand your reasonings... But when did you start learning how?" She frowned a little. "Exactly how many battles have you been in?"
