“Start writing, no matter what. The water does not flow until the faucet is turned on.” - Louis L'Amour
Like most things in life, I find writing all the more enjoyable when I have someone along for the ride with me. As such, I'm looking for other [s]adventurers[/s] writers, who are interested in telling stories with me. I consider myself I fairly laid back person, and as such I don't have many rules when it comes to finding someone who is willing to [s]bear with me[/s] roleplay with me. I do have a couple of rules in the fine print, that I suggest you give a little read.

I'm not super concerned with the age of the person I'm writing with. However if you want to go into more mature themes, then I ask you be 18+. Otherwise I'll feel like a pervy old man.
I prefer to roleplay on-site only. This helps me keep track of everything. I'm fine with both forums or PMs, but if pushed, I'll always go for forums.
I'll play die-based roleplays. However, I'm not a numbers-fanatic, I prefer more laxed house rules.
I typically post a few paragraphs per post. So why the Advanced tag? Because in all honesty my writing can change on a dime. I may go from a 150 word response to 1,500 word response in a heart-beat. How much (or how little) you write is up to you, all I ask is that you post enough to push the plot forward.
Let me know if you have any problems with the roleplay or with me. I'm not a mind-reader, and I'll only know something went wrong if I get ghosted. If you have any issues, tell me, and I'll see if there's something different that can be done. If not, then we part on amiable terms.
I strongly prefer that we not plot out any interpersonal relationships between characters (platonic, romantic, etc...) prior to roleplaying. I prefer to see what our character chemistry is like IC. Once we have a firm grasp on how they bounce off one another, then we can dive into a more strict plotting structure for their relationship.
If none of that has driven you away, then here's what I'm willing to throw my hat into:
Anime/Manga - Avatar the Last Airbender/Legend of Korra - Naruto - My Hero Academia - Pokemon - Kekkaishi Video Games - Shin Megami Tensei (+spinoffs: Devil Survivor, Persona, etc..) - Dragon Age - The Elder Scrolls - Fallout - Soulsborne - Mass Effect Other - Star Wars - Harry Potter

- (Fantasy) A character has to share a body with an ancient spirit, and return said spirit to some kind of shrine/place/dimension, as an act of atonement. [s]- (Fantasy) A soothsayer reads the fortune of a peasant, and determines they will someday be king/queen. In an attempt to gain prosperity they decide to befriend and accompany the peasant on an adventure.[/s] - (Fantasy OR Steampunk) A rebellion is boiling against the current monarch. One of the royal guards is forced to go undercover in this rebellion. - (Fantasy) A group of adventurers are tasked with tracking down an item. When they reach the item, it becomes clear that everything was a trap. The soul of a deity/strong spirit was living in that item, and possesses the adventurer that touched it first. Now the group must clean up their mess, and have to deal with their former companion. - (Fantasy) Any expansion of any of the basic Fantasy plots. (ie. Kill the dragon) - (Sci-Fi) In the far future criminals are sent as first contact to new potentially hostile planets to see if the aliens on said planet can be reasoned with. If not, society isn't losing anyone important. - (Sci-Fi) As expansion grows, signs that humans may have already inhabited more than Earth become clear to explorers. Our characters have to figure out what's going on. - (Sci-Fi) An alien race makes contact with humanity. This race has a policy that with any new race they encounter one subject of the new species is taken into custody by them and integrated with their society to understand them better. This subject is a very surprised, and moderately terrified, human. - (Sci-Fi) An expansion on any of the basic Sci-Fi plots. (ie. Alien invasion) - (Steampunk) A sickly/dying noble wishes to see the entire world before they die. An aviator takes them up on this offer, and the two start to explore the world. - (Steampunk) What started as a great expansion for humanity is starting to go wrong. The clockwork buildings and machinery are starting to come to life, and they're not happy. Our characters have to find a way to deal with this unexpected uprising. - (Steampunk OR Fantasy) A noble/royal becomes disillusioned with their role, and runs away. It turns out the streets are a hell of a lot more dangerous without a guard. Thankfully a criminal takes pity on them and tries to teach them the ropes. - (Steampunk) An expansion on any of the basic Steampunk plots. (ie. Technology adapting too quickly)
I'm always open to hearing about ideas not on this list. I tend to stick to Fantasy/Sci-Fi/Steampunk when it comes to original ideas, but other genres aren't off the table. Please leave a comment here or PM me if you're interested in writing with me. Thanks. :)
