Penelope gave a small nod as he replied to her. She was glad to at least know they would meet up again. She took a step back to let him leave and then turned to look over her shoulder as Gavin finally walked up besides her. There was a silence between the two that seemed to linger for longer than the female knight liked. He knew she and Crow were friends but she worried about how he would interpret Crow's coldness. "I don't think you should see him again." Gavin mumbled to her looking a little tense. "He seems dangerous." She looked up at Gavin and crossed her arms. It seemed Gavin as viewing Crow's coldness as aggression rather than the hurt feelings of an ex-lover. Part of her was glad that she'd likely be able to keep that a secret from him but she felt a little defensive of Crow. "He's not. He just doesn't know you. So he doesn't trust you." She stated. The female knight headed off towards the door, ready to leave now. She was feeling a little frustrated and disappointed at the results that night had. Now all she wanted to do was get back to camp. "Come on let's get back." She muttered tiredly. Gavin looked down at her and moved to walk besides her. "I still don't think you should see him...If someone else were to have found you with him-" "I'll be fine." She responded a bit sharply. "I was just distracted today.. After getting the barons to agree to the rule and all that. Guess I just had my head in the clouds." Penelope sighed and looked over at Gavin. "I'll be careful." "Alright.. You know you can trust me, right? I'm here for you." Gavin said moving to take her hand in his. Penelope smiled a little at him. "Thanks.." She said before looking ahead and falling silent as they returned to camp. While she appreciated his words, part of her still worried about just how much she could trust him with. She was lucky he believed her story and hoped that now that he knew where she was going, he would keep out of it.
