[center]Skyline Academy - the sole educational institution in the world established to cater to the needs and interests of gifted youth. Located in the city of New Nova, the boarding school is the main attraction of the small island city about a mile from the coast of its mainland. The opening of the academy was a response to the rising population of gifted individuals over the past decades and has met with mixed reactions from the public. While many are optimistic about the ability of the institution to nurture its students into respectable members of society, even heroes, perhaps, the actions of rogue mutants and the general fear of such gifts have caused others to be prejudiced against these individuals. For years, young mutants facing such rejection have taken refuge within the walls of the academy, enabling them to grow and learn in the safety and comfort it provides. However, recent events have started to challenge this sense of security, leading students to believe that Skyline may not truly be the sanctuary it is made out to be.[/center]
