The Cross twins had a fairly normal childhood for wealthy kids who were raised by nannies and didn't see their parents much. The brother and sister duo often caused plenty of mischief together, with a bond so strong it baffled those around them. At school, Bran and Spice were average students, with a stable group of friends and active in different extracurricular activities. At the age of sixteen, Stephanie got herself involved in what would be the relationship to change the course of her life. She’d fallen helplessly in love with Ethan Anderson a wanna-be rockstar seven years her senior who gave her the first taste of the dark side. Although things had started out good enough, they soon took a dark turn, and Spice found herself sinking further and further into a manipulative, emotionally abusive relationship. Having gone through a toxic, difficult relationship in the past herself, Mrs. Cross had noticed the signs, and decided to step in before the situation could escalate. After much deliberation and consideration the Cross parents concluded that the best course of action was to send Stephanie to live with her aunt and uncle in Boston. Surprisingly, Spice had grown to enjoy her new town and the opportunities it provided. The fresh start had been a blessing, allowing her to shed the mean-girl reputation she’d thrived upon back in LA and build up the rebellious wild child one instead, even if she did keep some of her bad habits. Once high school was finished, she'd immediately moved on to cosmetology school in order to reach her dreams of becoming a successful hair and makeup stylist. She landed a job in a relatively-known beauty salon after graduation, but soon realized she would need some extra income to live the lifestyle she was accustomed to. And when the opportunity came knocking and she took it: a spot as one of the top acts of IMPULSE. They say there's no rest for the wicked... And for Stephanie Cross, this is gospel. To Spice, the strings were an object of curiosity and fascination. She had never understood the true meaning of them until she'd found herself meeting one of them, and ever since then had been low-key obsessed with meeting the rest. But there was allure found in the mystery, so she would leave these meetings up to chance instead of chasing them out.
[sub]
strings
[/sub]
⎯⎯⎯⎯[s]𝓘𝓭𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓲𝓽𝔂 𝓤𝓷𝓴𝓷𝓸𝔀𝓷[/s]⎯⎯⎯⎯ [sup]TBA.[/sup] ⎯⎯⎯⎯[s]𝓟𝓪𝓽𝓻𝓲𝓬𝓲𝓪 𝓦𝓮𝓫𝓫𝓮𝓻[/s]⎯⎯⎯⎯ [sup]TBA.[/sup] ⎯⎯⎯⎯[s]𝓣𝓪𝓽𝓮 𝓟𝓪𝔁𝓽𝓸𝓷[/s]⎯⎯⎯⎯ [sup]He's a beast in bed, and I love him for it. Her wealthy father was a missing figure in her life, present only the way of monetary support and lavish gifts. This fact was of no importance, of course. Under her mother’s strict guidance, Brie was raised to be a poised, eloquent, focused and independent young woman, who had very clear and strong views about what was right or wrong. With no siblings or cousins her age, young Sabrina behaved as an individual beyond her years since her childhood, which proved to be a double-edged sword growing up. While the adults doted on her discipline and maturity, the children her age teased and shunned her out for “not knowing how to have fun”. The constant rejections and jokes made at her expense eventually built up a thick-skinned, ice-hearted girl who distrusted anybody who attempted to get close to her. These trust issues are things Brie carries with her to this very day. In college, Sabrina found a handful of people she could call friends: driven, like-minded individuals who shared her own hunger for success. But even with these newfound relationships that filled her with a degree of happiness and amusement, she still found herself keeping a healthy distance for protection purposes, busying herself with extracurricular activities, internships and the like. To Sabrina, the strings were of absolutely no importance. Growing up a Von Seymour meant that you were a born skeptic, and nothing was left up to fate or chance. Chasing after something like strings was a waste of time; a distraction from the things that truly mattered in life. Romantic partners were nonexistent, and sexual relationships were but a myth. No big deal, though. All of Sabrina’s current focus was on earning herself that Law degree and graduating in the to percentile of her class at Law School: no distractions were allowed.
