[@Thinslayer] Well, using my time as an old DnD GM, we could simple timeskip between travel phases but zero in on “interactive” moments. For example ya ruling out of the town and going on the road could be skipped, but then maybe we run across a random event (I can think of a few) that we could either interact with or ignore. Then we reach our appointed destination and go for a more traditional dungeon crawl or rogue type from there.
