Hey, [@TwilightShadow], a few issues with your post, as it goes against what I've established previously. 1.Venom is still skeptical. She isn’t sure whether or not she can trust James and the others. So she probably wouldn’t phrase it like: “I really think we should get going before both us and your friends are killed”. Among the more likely phrases are: “You know, in the odd chance that Sliver is telling the truth, I really think we should get going before your friends are killed.” 2.Venom is tagging along, because it looks like James is telling the truth. But that does not mean she would be okay with killing Shield agents. She would very much try to take down anyone who tries to kill them, until she is sure, Shield is the bad guys. So instead of talking about getting on Shield's list, Venom would talk about not letting anyone hurt agents. 3. As Shield are about to arrest them, Venom would probably try to appeal to Shield or try to find out, whether they can be trusted. That’s what she has communicated up to that point. And that point would be perfect to bring her up to speed: Show her that this is not the Shield that assisted the Avengers, when they saved New York. If not, then Venom’s only choice at that point was to attack Ava, as she just killed a few men who were only doing their job. To fix the contradictions to Venom's motivation, I could send you a few paragraphs to modify your post, if you allow me? Edit: When that is said, I like the direction you went with :)
