Alaska stands at a tall 186 centimetres in height without any visible injuries. Despite being dressed in winter apparel, her relatively large bust is easy to make out. Her favorite outfit consists of a heavy, white coat with a fur-lining that extends a little past her waist. Black leggings conform tightly to her shapely thighs as they tuck into a pair of white-leather leather boots. A single, black-leather glove is worn on her right hand that she never takes off in public. The pure white of her coat contrasts well with her dark pink-colored hair.

Alaska is constantly in the pursuit of glory on the battlefield and proving her worth to others, due to never being a part of any major engagements during her service and eventually being scrapped. Despite an aggressive and serious personality, she is always looking out for her fellow ships and will do whatever she can to help them. Whenever she is not on deployment, she is busy conducting training exercises. Enjoys shooting down enemy aircraft but absolutely adores aircraft carriers, though she hides the latter.

The Alaska came late into the war and as such did not see much action. Her primary tasks were providing anti-air support for carrier fleets and limited bombardment of islands in the Pacific. Later she swept the seas looking for Japanese shipping vessels but was only somewhat successful. Alaska's last major contribution was a large raid into the estuary of the Yangtze River off Shanghai yet it only had limited success. After the war, she assisted the army in Korea before returning home. Plans were made to refit her with missile systems but it was deemed too costly. Thus, she was scrapped on June 1st, 1960.
