[@Double] Oh, i agree with the part about people not wanting to be in an RP where there is one guy who refuses to lose, but i just don't think there are specific character builds in freeform RP's that are inherently overpowered, just people who play their character as overpowered. My description of "Overpowered" in rp's like this is "Character played by someone who clearly wants a power fantasy, mostly at the cost of everyone else's ability to enjoy the game." Rule of narrative is important. It's why the Justice League works, when Superman is clearly superior to everyone else combined, because his player knows that, when he needs to take a shitkicking, he'll take that shitkicking. If you disagree, i won't tell you that you are wrong, but that's my opinion on the matter, you are free to take it or leave it.
