[color=Royalblue]Adam is very handsome, standing 5'10" in height with a well-built, toned physique. His physical appearance is of around a 24-25 year old despite technically being over 40. Adam has a light complexion with olive undertones and has a strong bone structure with high cheek bones and a solid jaw line. He has dark brown almost black hair, which hangs just over his ears, usually styled in a casual disarray yet sometimes gelled for special occasions. With striking, intense light blue eyes contrasting wonderfully against darkened lashes and eyebrows, a "bad boy" smile, he can be described as relatively athletic, tall, strong, sexy and seductive. He also sports an array of scars in the shape of claw and bite marks from an animal on his arms, legs, chest and the tops of his shoulders.[/color]

[color=Royalblue]Pre-curse, Adam was a lord of the land. Fair and just in his rule, his fiance his counter balance and the one who could keep him in check and subdue his base, instictual reactions. He had moved past his pain and anger, trying to now ease the guilt he felt for trapping his friends and suedo-family withing the curse of the Enchantress.

Now he is a rather reclusive man, who would rather spend his days creating his art and maintaining the library, ocassionally hitting the bar for a few drinks. He is actually quite shy, though his gruff persona doesnt exactly lend it self to that reality. Allen is also incredibly insecure abour the scars that he has on his arms, legs and neck.[/color]

[color=Royalblue]Before the curse, Adam was raised a kind child, always clinging to his mother's dress and only very rarely letting go. She spoiled him so, but it was his father that made him rotten. The man encouraged his outbursts and demands of more, for a Prince only deserves the best and who are the peasants to deny him. This behaviour only became worse after Adam's mother passed away to illness. Not too long after his father had fallen as well.

With the teachings fro his father all but ingrained in him, Adam spent much of his life trying to surrounding himself with only the most beautiful of things and simply enjoying the luxary that comes with wealth. It was only after he turned away a dreadful old crone for "Disrupting his gala with her unsightly appearance" that he began to reflect on that error. He was cursed to become a beast, a Chimaera of the worst kind. Even worse however, was that she felt the need to punish his guests and servants as well turning them into objects, a reflection of how he had seen them.

Adam spent two decades wallowing in self-pity and guilt, his already abraisive nature only getting worse as time passed and the petals of the enchanted rose began to fall. In his anger, he began to act like the beast he was in the shape of. Ravaging the nearby villages, slaughtering livestock and people alike in his wake with little to no regard for what was happening. He became a legend feared by the people, he became the Beast of Gevaudan. However this all changed when an old man decided to steal one of his prized ivory roses from his garden. Surprised and disgusted by the man's audacity, the beast locked the man away intending to keep him there for the rest of his days. Alas it was not ment to be, but with the loss of his prisoner he gained something much better. His humanity and his true love.

Post curse, he is the reclusive librarian of storybrook with a penchant for creating beautiful art from the oddest and most grotesque of things. He also has a small rivalry with Blake Lockwood, often asking what was the point in buying a book that you might not even like when you could get it from the library for free.[/color] [/Center]
