Ohhh yeah that's my fault. I'm going to make an OCC for this or the official Rp page. But, to tell a long story short, there was multiple wars that erupted in earth. One of which rendered it useless or hostile to human life in this era one man stood up and decided to unify what remains establishing the UNE or the United Nations of Earth but, later finds out that there is no hope now asking whoever who wanted to preserve our legacy inside a vault for those who would come next hoping to show the error of their ways and to prevent whoever comes next from doing the same. 

After the completion of the vault a gate revealed itself and offered a way to escape their rotting world. Then the UNE established expeditions in order to lead mankind to their next hope but, rather than smooth sailing the leader of the expedition disappear leaving everyone else to basically do what they want to.
