[@Old Amsterdam][@Gardevoiran][@Dusksong] 'Oh, and right, this too!' Kalmia took out a set of Super Potions, handing one to each so they didn’t have to go to the Pokémon Center. … Or they could go to the Pokémon Center anyway and get themselves a free Super Potion, seeing how that was apparently the destination of at least two right now anyway. Eryn apparently already applied said potion in her post, so that’s fine. Moving on. [@Old Amsterdam][@Gardevoiran] As discussed, the group headed for the Pokémon Center. They could save on a Super Potion by just letting the nurse heal them instead.
‘Hello, and welcome to the Pokémon Center. Would you like to rest your Pokémon?’ Assumingly, yes. ‘Okay. I’ll take your Pokémon for a few seconds, then.’ She’d then accept the Pokéballs and put them into the machine, and… Di, di, di-do-da! ‘Thank you for waiting. We’ve restored your Pokémon to full health.’ She says as she hands the Pokéballs back. She then bows to her customer and gives a friendly smile. ‘We hope to see you again!’
So, it wasn’t exactly defined what they wanted to do at the Pokémon Center, so here’s assumed they asked around to more experienced trainers and see what they say. ‘The docks of Isson connects to the rest of the world! If you go there, you can buy the things exclusive to other regions! But, heh, it’s going to cost a pretty penny. Maybe return after earning some money on your journeys, eh?’ ‘Route 1 is a safe route, a place where young trainers can train to become strong. Route 2 is undoubtedly more exciting, with Wet Caverns presenting a challenge to all who enter it. It’s pretty easy to get lost in there. I know they sell maps in Lakewatch Town, but that’s on the other side. How thoroughly unhelpful.’ ‘Many young trainers start out going to Infested Woods to the east. However, that’s a beginner’s trap. The outer forest is safe enough, but venture too deep… Yeah, that wood is a little too close to everyone’s favorite city to start out from for my liking.’ ‘Don’t be afraid to walk off the edge of the map! Just because an option isn’t listed, it doesn’t mean you can’t do it. Take the Silent Forest north of Route 1 or west of Route 3. No map tells of a way into it… but you can just walk in there, can’t you!? Take a chance! You have no idea what you might find!’ ‘It always rains on Route 3, and Wet Caverns await after Route 2… Yupp! No matter what way you go, you’re going to get wet! Best to prepare yourselves! Oh, though I suppose you could take a boat from Highhill Town. That works too, but isn’t using vehicles in a Pokémon journey kinda cheating…?’ ‘Super Contests are held in Pureplain City! They hold the most amazing of shows there! It’s a step up from the Normal Contests of Redcoast City where anyone can enter. … And Penelope has been mopping the floor with her contestants, both there and in the Trainers’ School! Ooooh, Penelope… How my heart aches for you…’ ‘The Trainers’ School of Pureplain is the finest in the land! Go there if there’s something you want to know, and I here they occasionally let out rare Pokémon in their little park? I wonder what they have right now~!’ ‘They say that once upon a time a great beast liked to run over the great plains which Pureplain City were originally named after. However, now most of the plain is taken over by Pureplain City, there’s little plain left to run on and it hasn’t been seen for ages. I wonder if the beast is still somewhere out there…?’ ‘Pureplain City has a Pokémon Gym, just like all the other towns of Isson. … However, the leader might be have a case for being the strongest Gym Leader in Isson. There’s no use challenging him yet. Travel, become strong, and come back when you feel ready! Even then, you probably aren’t! He wiped the floor with me…’ So, with that done, they’re still in Pureplain City. Anything they want to do there?
Pureplain City is placed on the south-west brink of Isson, with the town facing the water and spreading quite far. The further in-town you go, the higher the buildings become, but the suburbs spread quite far. In terms of sheer landmass, it might even compete with Worldedge City, although maybe not in height. Life passes normally within this city. Children grow up alongside their parents in houses in the long, friendly streets. Jobs come from the depths of the town in the taller buildings. Schools grow from the reasonably high amount of children in need of tuition. And of course, there are lots of Pokémon. In Pureplain City, human and Pokémon work together. Be it for manual labour or just for company, Pureplain houses often contain at least one household Pokémon and there are many Trainers’ Schools around the city have always been plentifully attended, not counting the recent drop of embarking trainers due to the Team Wars. In addition, Pureplain Harbor is known as the “Gateway of Isson”, as that’s where all the ferries from outside the region dock, giving life to quite the marketplace. A common attraction of the city is the Super Contest stage, but other than that, Pureplain remains what it has always been. Pure and plain.
1. Find Pokémon. That Gym lies in Highhill Town, and to get there they have to leave Pureplain City. If so, then they’d head across the streets until the buildings thinned out, following the road until a small plain stretched before their eyes, where trainers had their first experiences as Pokémon Trainers…

Route 1
Route 1 is a long, flat and grassy route where most trainers get their first taste of the world. From Pureplain you can see the hills of Highhill in the distance, from Highhill the scrapers of Pureplain looms in the distance, the start of the Silent Forest surrounding the Silent Shrine on the side. There is a larger road, a main road used for travelling in and out of Pureplain City, there are plenty of more mature travellers taking that road to get from point A to point B. But, young Pokémon Trainers usually much rather use the smaller path going out into the grassland. This is some remnants of the plain which Pureplain City was named after, although most of that plain is now swallowed up by buildings of people living around here. Small roads branch out, leading to different places where some individuals have made their houses. There are many safe roads, yet take one step out of it and you’re immediately in tall grass, where you can already see many first-time Pokémon Trainers are challenging their first Pokémon. One could expect Pokémon Trainers to be searching for Pokémon either in the tall grass or the forest on the side, and also battling one another as they can. From the looks of it, there are plenty of young trainers sporting freshly caught Pidgeys and Rattatas. As one approaches Highhill Town, the forest becomes more plentiful, as beyond the town lies a forest. Through the route also runs an indent, a drain surrounded by walls, seemingly made for the water to gather up inside it. It’s currently dry, whatever cause of that might be. Some trainers appear to be having fun battling inside it, and they’re running around challenging one another inside it. But, the drain also raised interesting questions about what kind of Pokémon or things one might find should one explore it further. The most common here, as could be seen, are common Pidgey and Rattata, found pecking or scavenging among the grass. He looked a bit surprised at the fact she had said she was meeting him there, but quickly adapted and gave her a little nod. In Pureplain City it was a regular, peaceful day, with people and Pokémon heading on their daily business and young trainers gathering where they belonged. Of course, one such place was the Trainers’ School, which Eryn and Oaken was far from the only ones that were heading to.

It’s a school. Kids around Pureplain City flock here eventually to learn the basics of Pokémon battling, or there are trainers that come here only to attend the odd lesson before they embark on their big journey. There’s a patch of grass on the side where wild Pokémon can be found, and every week the teachers are known to have found a new specie to release into it in order to keep the students interested. And, of course, there’s plenty of Pokémon battling among the students as they do their best to learn. In fact… To the right immediately after Eryn enters the school, there’s a list of students in a ranking-list on a wall. A huge list of the 50 top students, ranked in Pokémon battling ability, and there’s a thing that anyone who visits can challenge the list to get onto it temporarily. Leaving for too long obviously means falling off the list, but those who rank high gain some benefits and bragging rights.
#1, Jonathan #2, Reynalda #3, Ilda #4, Tillie #5, Neva #6, Gregg #7, Cristy #8, Shizuko #9, Junie #10, Marvella #11 Wally #12, Christiana #13, Zachery #14, Joya #15, Sadye #16, Lisabeth #17, Katelyn #18, Gonzalo #19, Wonda #20, Rebecca #21, Leeann #22, Emerald #23, Leanne #24, Lekisha #25, Juliet #26, Dina #27 Randell #28, Ute #29, Tad #30, Nichole #31, Hortense #32, Mary #33, Beverlee #34, Thu #35, Catalina #36, Livia #37, Shanell #38, Gabriel #39, Ashlee #40, Dennis #41, Gaye #42, Zack #43, Kyoko #44, Jerilyn #45, Debbi #46, Jessie #47, Fred #48, Rich #49, Jenelle #50, Anthony
But even above the #1… The school apparently had their own Elite Four and Champion that one could challenge. Then, unfortunately, she was not given the comfort of walking as it picked her up and hauled her onto its shoulder, the little golem holding her over its arm as it turned about to walk back to the Old Tombs with her. Now, Goletts are actually only a meter tall, so to lift adults it probably needed two of them each, but for the daughter and Amelia one sufficed, though it probably wasn’t that comfortable. Dawkin did not have to wait long for a chance to sneak after, for the Goletts did not actually post any guards of any kinds. The Goletts that had failed to grab any captives walked on into the desert, moving out towards any living humans they could see and otherwise just headed straight out. They weren’t very perceptive, so with the assumption that Dawkin hid they’d pass by without noticing him. Those that did get ahold of someone headed into the tombs with them without posting any guards, meaning he was free to stalk after the Golett carrying Amelia off. So, with that, through two different means, they descended down the stairs…

Old Tombs
A perfect mix of sand, civilization and senescence. The old tombs are once grand halls construed out of a rocky interior decimated by time. Old buildings still stand, magnifique in their architecture and proud in their stature, showing the grace of a time long by. The halls lead deeper, but many of the passages are blocked by the sands of the desert, which has leaked inside through unintended openings that has broken up by time or digging. Who knows what kind of wonders await down inside the different buildings that still stand down here, or what kind of creatures still stirr in the wake of the civilization that once stood here. Because all the writings and discoveries that have been decoded here point to the same thing; these are tombs. Magnificent and deep tombs that lead who knows where, protected by the same protectors that once protected the civilization above ground as well. These protectors still walk these halls, threatening those who would wander them. A curious sight entered their field of view. It was a line of three Goletts, walking in to inspect the kidnapped humans one by one. The three of them were armed, a sword in their right hand and a shield tied to their left. However, each of those shields were alive… Pokédex Entry #436 – Bronzor, the Bronze Pokémon. They were found in ancient tombs, and implements shaped like them are too. Ancient people seem to believe the pattern on their back had mysterious powers. They are closely related to mirrors in ancient writing, yet no surface of it is properly reflective. X-raying it, there’s nothing inside. … And so were the swords! Pokédex Entry #679 – Honedge, the Sword Pokémon. Should someone grab the hilt, its blue sash ties itself around the arm to hold it in place as the sword drains the energy of the one foolish enough to grab the hilt of a possessed sword. In a manner, anyway. However, an issue quickly arose. Because these inspecting guards were putting the captives asleep using their Bronzor shields, which emitted Hypnosis at the captives before they were carried deeper. Just ahead of Amelia, the young daughter and her father were being carried… ‘Father, it would seem Bronzors are putting the captives to sleep,’ the girl said. ‘It would appear so,’ the man said, looking over. ‘Father, I have a proposal. I allow myself to be captured, and I will see if I can convene with the spirits within this tomb. You break free, hide out somewhere and prepare to come to my rescue,’ the girl continued. ‘Hm, very well. Your plan is acceptable, my daughter,’ the man said… after which he kicked out, his foot going straight through the Ghost-type Golett… which also meant his feet just came free. With remarkable agility, he also spun about to kick at the one holding his upper body… and once again his limbs went straight through, but this also meant that he got himself free and rolled onto his feet on the floor. Without a moment’s pause he dashed away through the corridors to the left and right, because there are such, and after him dashed most of the otherwise free Pokémon, including two of three armed Goletts. With most of the force departed, what remained were three Goletts, two of which were carrying Amelia and the other girl, and the third was one armed with a Bronzor and Honedge, the other Goletts carrying people departing with their sleeping captives going ahead, deeper into the tombs. Without minding the departed security, the Golett approached the girl with intention of using Hypnosis on her, and then Amelia after that if it got that far. Dawkin was assumingly spying from the entrance of the room. What would they do from here? Would Amelia keep going with allowing herself to be kidnapped even if that meant being put to sleep? Would Dawkin keep simply spying? That is most certainly an option. What would they do?
