She took her training with Luna very seriously, however. She could learn a whole lot more about what it was to be a magical girl. At the very least, from Luna's perspective and quite possibly Soma if and when she was with them during such discussions. While it was helpful to have her insight on such things, Yui made sure to build her own understanding of things as she built up her strength. On more occasions than one, Yui accompanied Luna and others on the hunts for Nightmares. Which she went at very seriously. it did not matter how hard she fought, though. Luna always seemed to fight a bit harder. It was not so much the actual fighting as it was...the way of going at it. Yui was not blind. She noticed that after each hunts, when they split up, her 'mentor' was going back in for some more. Such things could be felt, although...she dared not ask or even bring up the subject. The young Magical Girl hoped that her presence alone, with a bit of help from her magical aura, was enough to brighten up the blond girl if even just a little. During the day and the rest of her free time Yui was just as busy as during the nights. With Christmas coming along, sadly, the orphanage received quite a few new children to take care of. Working her side job at a grocery store and helping around the orphanage took Yui most of her time - but it was well worth it. This is why she was not prepared to the news she received on the eve of her meetings at the Karaoke... [hr]
