The one thing Evelyn hadn't counted on was a living legend of fame being quite so personable, not that she was rightly complaining about it. If anything it went a long way to soothing the awkward nerves that came with meeting anyone, let alone someone whose name was known here, there, and even across the water. Evelyn's first thought was that Miss Oakley seemed so...normal. Not in a bad way, of course, but when watching an entertainer and hearing people talk about them in excited tones and breathless wonders it really makes them seem so much larger than life. Perhaps, Evelyn mused, that wast the broader point. She was glad to see to know the gunslinger wasn't the type to tell her fans to hit the road running. "Is it so obvious?" Evelyn responded in kind towards the remark about not being from around here; if the fancy choice of dress didn't make it obvious then Evelyn's manner of speaking certainly did. Though she tried to hide it, her accent poked through her tone which made her words come off as either a bit slower or a bit too fancy depending on who it was she spoke with. Trying to mask her natural voice just made her speak with a drawl that was often construed as mockery - so she tended to let her voice be as normal. "My name is Evelyn Albright, Miss Oakley, and my father is a property owner just outside of town as well as the proprietor of the bank." Was Evelyn being a bit too forthcoming? Perhaps, but such was the price to pay when struck with a bit of star. "Right now the only thing I would like to know is you, Miss Oakley." Evelyn was speaking in earnest as she moved to sit on the stool next to the entertainer. "If it's not an imposition, of course. I've never known someone as entertaining or half as talented."
