Kraber Jameson NCPD Detective
Appearance: Kraber is not a remarkable fellow. Slightly skinny, with hair a little more red than it is brown, the overall look, and indeed the look that he doggedly cultivates is that of averageness. His beard is trimmed and orderly, hair combed but not styled. At 5'9" he is neither overly tall nor overly short, and sinks into a crowd with ease. His complexion is fair and his skin is in excellent condition, and overall he's a fairly pleasing figure to the eye, but nothing that would cause him to stand out. In short, Kraber is the sort of fellow that most people barely register as they hurriedly run from street to street, here and gone in a single frame. Kraber's clothing sense is likewise determined. Whilst not exactly a paragon of high fashion, Kraber knows street trends and adapts to them. His wardrobe is an ever-adjusting collage of what's just become affordable from on high, the man knowing his body type and how to buy for it perfectly. He shies from the oh-so-stereotypical duster and fedora- a bomber and a snapback are much less noticeable. Cyberware:

Neuralware:
Neural Processor: Allows for the functioning of other cybernetics.
Datajack: The bare minimum needed to function in this world. Kraber's is neatly hidden away in his hair.

Implants:
Heart Monitor. Independent of his heart's functioning is this monitor. The usage of it should be obvious.
Artificial Hormone Regulator. An extraordinarily common implant, this allows Kraber to adjust the hormone balance in his body. Normally used in order to increase adrenaline before a fight, but has other usages too.
Distributed Neural-Kinetic-Electro Bundles: A fancy term for 'dynamos in his muscle.' The human body has enough space in it to store a surprisingly large amount of energy. This greatly reduces the normal strain of chrome on the human body, as it takes off a lot of the weight from his metabolic system, and interfaces with another set of implants...
Electro-Enhanced Muscle Fibre: When needed, Kraber can 'juice up' his muscles with power generated from the dynamos. This effectively doubles the amount of power he can put into movements, with all the benefits that that comes with. Maximum charge of the dynamos will last him a couple of hours, but pushing his muscles like this is asking for lactic acid buildup, cramps, sprains and dislocations, even with his reinforced constitution.

Bioware:
High-Density Bone Lattice: By 'weaving' together muscle and bone, both body parts benefit. Kraber's muscles are tougher, more tear-resistant and tire slower, whilst his bones are far less likely to break under most circumstances.
Hyper-Efficient Kidneys: Harmful chemicals are filtered through his system at incredibly rapid speeds. Would make him a great donor, if kidneys couldn't be vat grown nowadays.

Cyberoptics:
Auto-Retinal Adjusting: Commonly known as a 'dazzle guard.' Automatically protects the eyes from bright lights, whilst also allowing for the iris to be expanded past normal ranges, giving increased night vision without a full eye replacement. Very painful to have put in a biological eye.
Micro-camera: Located in the retina. Anything Kraber sees, the camera sees. Located in his right eye, which is a full replacement.
Marquee: Scrolling text in the upper corner of his right eye. Linked to his communications suite in order to receive updates from the NCPD wherever signal is available.

Cyberaudio:
Communications Suite: A full set of ECM scrambled in-built communication devices. Wide and narrow beam radio transceivers with the antenna located in his canine teeth. Audio isolating and dampening and high-quality audio recording also available.
Vocal Stress Analytics: A lie detector. Never as accurate as the higher-ups would like it to be, the implant works via monitoring subtle inflections in vocal tone and comparing it to a series of benchmarks to determine the probability of a lie.
Weapons:

Dynatech Industries Hand Taser: A normal-looking pair of black driving gloves with a series of metal contact points located in the knuckles. When clenched into a fist, the glove is turned on, causing the contact points to crackle with 50,000 volts. Each glove can carry two charges before needing a recharge, the process of which takes three hours per glove charged. The weight of the electronics also makes for a reasonable knuckleduster in a pinch.
Shori Arms 'Taurus Super Magnum': Shori Arms are another military hardware company from Japan, and their 7 shot, double-action caseless revolver is a work of practical, lethal art. Using the .457 calibre round, sometimes called the 'super magnum' or 'magnum plus' thanks to it's similarities to the .347 round, the Taurus has incredible stopping power in a reliable and easy-to-maintain package. The gun is sleek and fashionable, with a matte black finish and can be loaded using full moon clips, half moon clips, individually or by chamber swapping.
Militech 'Bulldog Compact' Assault Shotgun: Militech is the gauge by which all other firearms producers are measured by, and it shows in their products. The Bulldog Compact, although not exactly designed to be able to be carried around casually is a firehose of lead in any situation where it's brought out. Selective fire allowing for burst, single and fully automatic modes, a curved 20 clip and an additional 12 gauge shell in the chamber and an effective range of 60 meters makes it a superb street sweeper as well as ensuring that it maintains effectiveness should violence spill outside of a confined space.
Combat Knife: 6" long and with a partially serrated, partially straight edge. Kept in a sheath on his thigh. Never leave home without it.
Armour:

Kevlar Tactical Vest: Normally seen on VIPs and covert security guards, the humble tactical vest is nonetheless a lifesaver. Stab-proof and capable of stopping most low powered shots from pistols or SMGs, it's nonrestrictive and not overly hot. Kraber wears it near-constantly when out and about.
Full Combat Plate: Has to be requested and signed out of the NCPD arsenal. A full set of hard armour covering his biceps, chest, groin and thighs and capable of stopping anything shy of a high-powered rifle round. Hot, sweaty, restrictive and uncomfortable... But very, very, very useful to have in a firefight.
Background: Kraber's life has, for the most part, been as unremarkable as his appearance. The world was changing far too fast for anyone to keep up, especially a toddler barely able not to shit himself, but Kraber's always felt at home in the hustle and bustle of a big city. Streetsmarts and the knowledge of when to keep his damn mouth shut served him well throughout school, but as he left he realised he was faced with a distinct lack of any prospects. His parents weren't rich enough to put him through higher education, and he certainly didn't feel like putting himself in debt to get some useless sheet of paper. Having little talent for professional blue collar work and a lack of motivation lead to Kraber grifting for several years of his life, the end of which came with a narrow escape from prison. Now with an idea in his head and a clean criminal record (if only barely so,) and with plenty of physical and mental aptitude, he passed through the qualifications to become a police detective with relative ease, setting him on a stable road for the future. His early and mid twenties were mostly crimebusting and an increasingly glum outset. Being submerged in crime near-constantly can give anyone a dour demeanour, and Kraber's chilling lack of any sort of empathy towards those effected by the crimes that he was investigating lead to a two-week time out for 'psychiatric assessment,' the results of which was nothing, because the NCPD had never actually bothered to set him up with anyone qualified to make such an assessment. Nonetheless, the jolt to his system that those two weeks has set him on a slightly altered course once more, and although he approaches this new case with the same detached determination as the rest, there's a bit more fire inside of him than might otherwise be expected.
