Dragging herself out of bed, she stretched her arms above her head before placing her hands on her hips. The feeling of waking up with unfamiliar surroundings was something she needed to get used to. Maybe after classes she would take some time to personalize the room or liven it up a little. At minimum, a vase of flowers to display would be nice. The dark was slowly lulling her back to sleep, prompting her to want to let some light into the room. She walked over to the window, throwing the blinds open and expecting the room to be filled with sunlight; however, the only light she received was the pale moonlight. Oh, right. Admittedly, it was going to take some time for her to get used to being up all night and barely getting to see the sun. Turning on the light to the room, she began her usual self-care routine; a quick shower, a little time spend on ironing her clothes, and a majority of time wrestling with her hair to get it to behave and place it into her usual ponytail. Once she was dressed, she examined herself in the mirror. She was happy the academy didn't require uniforms, a small comfort but still appreciated. Her little gradient dress puffed out slightly, her jacket nice and comfortable as she pulled it on. As she looked herself over, she realized she was forgetting something, kneeling down before the shoddy case she had and tenderly opening it up to reveal her rapier. After making sure it was secured to her sash, she finally felt ready. Her phone then beeped at her just as she finished, the girl grinning at her reflection before setting off. Orientation would be held separate from vampires, so for once the young woman was completely at ease. Lilie kept having to be reminded to keep up with the group, as every so often she would stop walking altogether to watch an example of magic happening. It was getting difficult to contain herself, but she managed to keep it together as the group reached the auditorium. Getting to see the examples of magic had gotten her excited, although once again, a lot of the talking went over her head. It wasn't that any of it was uninteresting, it just...didn't hold her attention for very long. Seeing Sariel walk on air was an entirely different story, however, and she wondered if she could possibly reach that level of mastery. Her relationship with water was always a love-hate sort of thing, as the element to her offered little use in terms of combat. Once they were free to roam, the silver-haired girl lingered as she looked around. She was torn between going to the appropriate element and looking for combat related clubs, and eventually, the latter won her over. Looking around as she walked, she found herself wishing she would have socialized with people more. She didn't know anyone, feeling the tiniest pang of jealousy as she watched some students interact with one another. As she approached the table for the Arena Guild, she noticed Sariel speaking with a few students. There seemed to be a sign up sheet--mock battles, maybe? Either way she was sold, the girl focused on filling out the paperwork. She perked up slightly when she heard a familiar voice, spotting Aaron not too far off, speaking with Sariel and a few others she didn't recognize. Her eyes brightened up, the relief of seeing a familiar face invigorating her immensely. Making it a point to finish filling out the form quickly, thanking the guild member before cautiously approaching the small group. She hadn't noticed the other young man until she had neared, and suddenly she felt like she didn't want to intrude, hovering near them for a moment as she contemplated whether or not to interrupt. Realizing she probably looked odd just standing around, she tried to think of the best way to approach him without looking weird, going in a small circle before finally deciding to just walk up to the blonde and say something. Except, when she finally did, she chickened out at the last second, deciding that maybe she should look around a little more. She stopped in her tracks as the bright light emanated from Aaron, and her eyes widened--or rather, they did after she spent a second rubbing her eyes. Light magic! The amount of possibilities from that ran through her head, the display giving Lilie enough of a push to actually approach Aaron with light applause. "That was amazing!" She told him excitedly.
