-1834 the first emergence of powers 
Incidents: Factory fire witnesses claim tragedy started after the hands of a worker suddenly bursts into flames without warning. 37 are killed.

-1837: Victoria is crowned Queen of England at 18. 
-1840: Mass movement to persecute "unholy" individuals 
-1853: Crimea War begins 
-1854: The Queen's "UnHoly" Army is formed (Protection of powered individuals in return of service under Queen Victoria during the Crimea war)
-1856: Crimea War ends with the help of the "unholy" : Law is established to protect powered individuals as long as they serve England. But public is still wary.

	The emergence of unnatural abilities was said to have started around the first half of the 1800's. With tragedies from individuals unable to control their newfound power's, the public was focused on persecuting those who exhibited "unnatural" abilities. Dubbing them "Unholies". By the end of 1841, more than 500 individuals were executed for "preservation of public saftey". It wasn't until the Crimea war that the Alliance facing Russia saw use of 'unnatural abilites' to help turn the tide. For promise to an end of the persecution and protection of these individuals, they formed the "Unholy Army".  
	With a victorious end to the war, the promise is kept and persecution of these individuals is outlawed. Though groups like the Catholic Church still saw the unholies as a threat - would lynch whoever they came across. Not only that, but Crime Syndicates taking advantage of powers have formed raking chaos across Europe. 

Under Queen Victoria's order, an agency of these individuals was formed with several goals in mind: 
-Protect the Queen 
-Serve England (And its alliances) 
But most importantly: 
-Fight threats pertaining to use of superpowers.

[center]Welcome to the interest check for "The Queen's Hand". I wanted to do a super hero agency RP but with a historical twist on it. This is during a time where super powers are still fairly new so abilities shouldn't be too complex (like what you'd see on Boku no Hero). I'm still working out the details such as cementing a strong timeline and plot that lines up to actual historical events. 

A few things:
-The main focus of course will be on the superhero agency based in London but characters can originate from anywhere. Just make sure when working on bio, tell how they ended up in England. 
-This takes place during the Victoria Era but there's also a few other things going on: Industrial Revolution, Napolean Bonaparte, Rise of Imperialism etc. 
-Face Claims are encouraged but if you do find a image for your character you prefer to stick with, please provide a reference FC alongside it. -Main conflict will most likely be with powered crime syndicates and Russia's own agency. 
-Though I'm trying to keep an accurate timeline, some events will be put in/changed for our purposes. Ex: Jack the Ripper's reign of terror didn't happen until 1888 but I want to at some point tackle it, so we might just change the date for our purpose.
