I have a regular playlist of movies I usually try to get through around the season.  I don't usually get all of them every year, but as long as I get at least half, I consider it a success:

[i]Alien[/i] (the first movie to give me legit nightmares)
[i]Night of the Living Dead/Dawn of the Dead/Day of the Dead[/i] (usually just one of the three, not the whole trilogy)
[i]Gojira
The Shining
Nosferatu
The Satanic Rites of Dracula[/i] (though any of the Christopher Lee Dracula movies will do)
[i]Dog Soldiers
Suspiria
The Omen
An American Werewolf in London
The Howling
Shaun of the Dead
Young Frankenstein[/i]

And this year I'm adding Netflix's [i]Castlevania[/i] series to the list, and a re-reading of Kim Newman's fantastic [i]Anno Dracula[/i] books.
