On paper, leaves, or whatever surface goblins use to write up stuff, it seemed like they were about to have themselves a good hearty breakfast. However, things weren’t that simple. Despite being surrounded, the large rabbit stood its ground, readying itself for the oncoming assault from the goblins. Usually timid in nature, horned rabbits typically avoid any sort of encounter; this particular one was apparently the exception. Although not that noticeable, its body possessed several scars that probably came from previous well fought encounters. As Oleg charged forward with spear in-hand, the horned rabbit appeared one step ahead of him. In a sudden burst of speed, the horned rabbit lunged its head forward, impaling the unfortunate goblin through his right shoulder, before taking a step backward. Its attention was too focused on the injured Oleg and failed to react to both Lothar and Nic who had jumped at it from behind and its side, ramming their sharpened rocks into its back and right hind leg. The horned rabbit growled in pain but remained unshaken and stood its ground. Thrashing its body from left to right, the horned rabbit flung both Lothar and Nic off it. Clasping his shoulder with both hands, Oleg was on the ground, writhing in pain. Nic trembled in fear as he laid on his back, with his gaze focused on their frenzied prey as its sight seemed to have been set on him. On his knees, Lothar continued to get back up and luckily, he was still in possession of his sharpened rock. OOC: Good attempt. Being more specific with your attacks, or at least less vague avoids scenarios that I could take advantage off. If you mentioned targeting its neck, throat, or eyes, the fight might’ve been over by now. Anyway, current situation has Oleg, the Horned Rabbit Variant (💀💀), and Nic (💀). One skulls means that there's a potential/risk of dying. Two skulls would mean that the situation could lead to death if no intervention is done. Three skulls pertains to unavoidable death.

Like the others that went before them, Usuk’s group had left the cave and started their own hunt. The forest was very large, but also full of life during the day. All the creatures at night tended to be the top predators of the area. No goblin had any hope for competing with those monsters anyways. Usuk's group continued on their search to no avail. The few creatures they saw were the birds of the forest, which they had no chance at catching while they're so high up in the trees. Soon they found a rather interesting creature though. It was an Infant Armadilladon that was munching on a large berry-filled bush. It was strange since most Armadilladon’s traveled in groups with infants always paired with either of their parents. There could have been others close by or this particular one had just strayed off from its pack. Either way, it was going to be Usuk decision whether or not they’d pursue it. Vali seemed eager to catch the monster as drool dripped from his mouth. Ay, on the other hand, was more intrigued by the creature. He cocked his head to one side as he tried to make heads and tails of the beast before turning to Usuk. OOC: The Infant Armadillion is just over a foot tale and wide. Its ignorantly having its breakfast. Or is it?

[sub]Day Three (3) - Will Curiosity Kill the Goblin?[/sub]

Letting her inquisitiveness get the best of her, Glimmway made her way deeper inside the cave in hopes of finding out where that strange light was from. And behind her, was the ever so caring Rizz. It was strange. For someone who was keen to noticing anything and everything around her, Glimmway failed to realize that there was someone actually following her. Was Rizz actually a master of stealth or were her movements incredibly quiet and unnoticeable? Well, I hate to burst your bubble, but the truth was far from that. Rizz was loud and tried her best to get Glimmway’s attention. Unfortunately, she was just incredibly distracted. I take that back, maybe entranced would be a for befitting word. Regardless, you must be wondering what exactly preoccupied the young goblin’s attention? Well, it was giggling that came from at least two voices, that apparently only she could hear. Continuing to go forward, it simply led her to a dead end and that was when she finally took notice of Rizz. The giggling Glimmway had previously heard had vanished completely, but in its place, she quickly found two small gemstones, barely visible and embedded into the ground. One was rough and possessed a jagged blood-red color while the other was more smooth and was opaque and milky in appearance. OOC: Not as exciting as a hunt, but more mysterious, I guess? Do as you wish with the stones and I'll respond accordingly. Share them, smash them together, or whatevs. Feel free to ask questions in the OOC if you have any.
