But despite her natural talent for magic and for science, she never let her gifts get ahead of her hard work. She strived from the moment she left the crib to be greater than what she was, and by the time she was a scholar of the highest calibre, she was still only just out of her childhood years. Through careful social manipulation and a vicious spree of intellectual upsets of prestigious individuals, she eventually reached it. The Stone. That sacred, taboo achievement that Atala had founded its strongest beliefs on. Since the moment she drank from that most forbidden chalice, she has been something of a symbol among the Atalan nobility. A merciless seeker of truth, a kindred spirit who would lay waste to her opposition if it meant coming a step closer to higher understanding. Not feared or hated, but revered among her people; if there is anything like a "hero" in Atala, it is her. When the time came to answer the call, she was unsurprisingly the one to answer. Out of all of her peers, she was the most ambitious and aggressive after all. She had no difficulty securing military and noble support for her attendance at the council, and now seeks to further her understanding of the world in yet another novel and exciting way. A quest to save the world? Such a thing is worthwhile, certainly. She lives in the world, after all.
Qualities of the Mind
Training, or something more intimate.
-Aggressive. It's in her nature to seek conclusive dominance over others through display of mental and physical prowess. Rather than using competition as a vehicle to prove herself, she instead seeks to inspire others as well as herself by claiming pure and complete victory in all things. Not one to accept defeat easily. -Elegant. The quality of being refined, and also her affinity for social interactions that helps her exist in an environment with other nobles. Wilamin values refinement in all things, and has never to date been observed going against these values. Equal parts social habit as it is a form of self-discipline, helping her shape her behaviour into one more in line with her will. -Inquisitive. The culture she comes from values the pursuit of knowledge highly, and beyond even that, Wilamin has dedicated herself to the pursuit of truth. She does not speak untruly except when utterly necessary, and takes immense satisfaction from assigning certainty to the uncertain. Her natural curiosity is like that of a child's, taken to its logical extreme. -Knowledgeable. An aftereffect of the trait listed above. A quality possessed by those who have not simply immersed themselves in study, but have emphasized the absorption of knowledge from a wide array of sources through osmosis. A state of understanding only achievable in civilized society, and therefore one that Wilamin considers to be of great worth. -Pankration. A martial art favoured in Atala, which is seen as being a pure expression of one's mind through their body. Often used during intellectual debates, to handle social disputes, or even simply for recreation among nobles. There is no greater bonding activity between two great Atalian minds than a bout of Pankration, followed by a shared bath. -Strategy & Military Tactics. Characteristic fields of study for the girl who does not know defeat, and one punctuated by more field experience than one would expect. Could be called both an understanding of the conventions of war, and also the flexible mind required to assess new combat paradigms. A talent for logistics and personnel management is implicit.

Qualities of the Flesh
Blood, and Sinew, and Bone. Fundamental components it takes to be considered alive.
-Eternally young. Having sipped from the radiant chalice and attained a miracle beyond mortal birth, Wilamin has sustained an effect superficially similar to immortality. Rejuvenated and full of youth, time seems not to advance for her faultless skin and tempered flesh. She will still die when her allotted time is up, but until then, she will be beautiful. -Natural body. A secondary effect of the Elixer of Life, which sublimates the spirit into one's very flesh. Wilamin requires no training to remain in peak physical condition, and while she lacks in body mass, she is more than capable of besting regularly able-bodied humans. Were this another world, she might be described as "Olympian" (in more ways than one).

Qualities of the Spirit
Something less material than the Flesh, but equally as inherent and precious.
-Enlightenment. A state of heightened awareness on a spiritual level as a result of a brush with higher knowledge. Meaningless in the grand scheme of things, but one possessing this order of separation from mortality does present an unusual presence upon examination. When looking upon her, one might easily believe that Wilamin has been touched by some kind of higher power- regardless of if this is actually the case, or not. -Magically barren. The same elixer that gives life, takes its toll on other parts of the being. As a result of having obtained alchemical immortality, Wilamin is completely unable to directly wield any sort of Magical power. Some loopholes exist, but she can generally be treated as an individual with a magical aptitude of zero.

Equipment
Wilamin does not arm herself heavily, to do so would be to go against her basic principles. She does carry a small dagger for utility and emergency purposes, and does not travel without an extensive kit consisting of supplies for observation on the field. Spyglasses, waterproof cases for maps and papers, and all sorts of writing implements are a given. She owns a basic breastplate and helm for when she's on the battlefield, to protect her from the stray shots of her enemy, but otherwise does not wear armour on the regular.
Forces
Travelling with Wilamin is an attachment of Atalian soldiers, recruited through her connections among the other Nobles of her home country. Marching 60 strong and armed with sturdy, light armour, they should function as a formidable heavy infantry unit in a pinch. While their armour is far from plated, they do carry heavy metal shields and extremely long spears suited for formation combat. When things get up-close and personal, they favour a one-handed sword with an open hand or shield. Rather than their skill with weapons, their intensive training in hand-to-hand combat is what sets them apart from others. In addition to her soldiers, Wilamin is attended to by a team of 10 professionals. They have a mastery of a wide array of skills, namely engineering and other useful skills for battlefield construction. More importantly, this support staff helps to create a stronger chain of command for Wilamin's personal forces. Particularly important when Wilamin herself is stretched thin, picking up the slack where she may not be able to direct her personal attention.
