Here's the basic rundown:[/center] [color=f7976a][center][h1][u][b]Roles[/b][/u][/h1][/center][/color] [b][color=f26522]Moderator [/color][/b][i](Me)[/i] Self explanatory [b][color=f26522]Villagers [/color][/b][i](The majority of the players)[/i] Villagers will be able to speak openly in IC during The Day phases. No talking in IC during The Night is permitted. [b][color=f26522]Werewolf [/color][/b][i](1 player to be chosen in secret or 2 players if we have over 10 participants)[/i] Werewolves will be talking and disguising themselves as innocent players during the day. At night the Werewolf will select a victim and tell the moderator who is next to die. If there are multiple wolves, they will be told of eachother and they must agree on their singular victim. [color=f26522][b]Seer [/b][/color][i](1 player to be chosen secret)[/i] The Seer will be able to speak openly in IC during The Day phases. During The Night, they can tell the moderator of one individual who they would like to investigate. If the person they chose is a wolf, the moderator will reveal it to them. If it's not a wolf, they will be revealed as Innocent. [color=f26522][b]Doctor [/b][/color][i](1 player to be chosen in secret)[/i] The Doctor will be able to speak openly in IC during The Day phases. During The Night, they can choose to Heal someone. If they happen to heal someone who was attacked by a werewolf that same night, the victim will survive the attack and the group will be told that someone had been Saved by the Doctor. If the doctor heals anyone that is not the current victim, nothing happens and nothing is revealed. [color=f7976a][center][h1][u][b]Gameplay[/b][/u][/h1][/center][/color] The game proceeds in alternating night and day rounds. Begin with nighttime. [color=fff79a][u][b]The Night[/b][/u][/color] At night, the IC forums will be "closed" and each person will act upon the role they have. They will communicate with me via private message letting me know what actions they want to take. If there are 2 werewolves, they will be informed before the game starts as to who the other werewolf is. They will also be allowed to communicate in private and strategize for how they want to decide upon their kill. There will only be 1 kill each night and the werewolves must agree upon their decision. Now, the moderator will ask the Doctor who they would like to heal. The Doctor selects someone they'd like to heal. The person chosen (which could be himself) will survive if the werewolves chose to kill the them. If someone was killed, and then saved by the Doctor, the moderator will let the village know by saying, "Someone has been saved", at the beginning of day time. The moderator will then ask The Seer to pick someone to ask about. The seer must select any player. Once they select a player, the moderator will reveal if that player is an Innocent or a Werewolf. Once all actions are communicated to the moderator and all information has been dispersed, IC opens back up and it's The Day again. [color=fff79a][u][b]The Day[/b][/u][/color] During The Day, you and your fellow villagers try and decide who the werewolf is. There will be a 4 day time limit on The Day. On Day 4, an official vote will be taken and the majority will select a person to kill. For the first day, Everyone can introduce themselves. You can even tell people your role or lie about your role or make premature accusations. That's the fun of it! Daytime is very simple; all the living players gather in the village and decide who to kill. As soon as a majority of players vote for a particular player to kill, the moderator says "Ok, you're dead." There are no restrictions on speech. Any living player can say anything they want -- truth, misdirection, nonsense, or a barefaced lie. Dead players may not speak at all. Similarly, as soon as a majority vote indicates that a player has been chosen to be killed, they are dead. If they want to protest their innocence or reveal some information (like the seer's visions), they must do it before the vote goes through. Once a player is killed, night falls and the cycle repeats. [color=f7976a][center][h1][u][b]Winning[/b][/u][/h1][/center][/color] The villagers win if they kill all werewolves. The werewolves win if they kill enough villagers so that the numbers are even.
