[@Hokum] [pre]home sweet home at last[/pre]
/accessing memorybank/

/creating new memory

///STARTING MEMORY RECORDING. . .
DAY 4, YEAR UNKNOWN, DATE UNKNOWN --------------------------/ Pretty unimpressed with Fanny’s response, SAM turns his attention back to the voice of the communication officer. A lengthy period of stillness followed. Looks like they were just as befuddled as he was if they can’t formulate an explanation quickly. It would have to be a damn good reason he was here. Though with the circumstances SAM had been put in, it wouldn’t be reasonable to have the highest sense of skepticism. He was then treated to claims of a Quantum Disruption that seemed to affect everything, being deemed a threat, and about the fact that he was possibly going to be put into a cage for study.Again. The silver lining was that his synopsis was taken into consideration. Needless to say, SAM was filled with apprehension. He was only used to strange, exotic creatures from other planets, not massive errors in space time, wormholes, or whatever caused this! Everything seemed futile, left forlorn on a desert planet only to be taken prisoner for study, then transported to the helm of a ship, only to then be set for capture again. Such is life. "You know, by raising those shields..." SAM turned to Fanny, listening closely to her explain that there was a light at the end of the tunnel. All he had to do was put up the shields and not press the wrong button when trying to steer the ship. He won’t be teleported away and SAM could now go home. He sprung to the helm’s display, immediately activating the shield generators. He would then scour for something that looked like the controls to fly the personal ship. SAM would just need a head start in the confusion of any other ships in proximity and while he would be in a safe spot, he could engage a hyperdrive or other gadget this vessel most likely had. An unrelated thought came to his attention; who exactly is Fanny? How did she get here? Why is she telling him information to get him out of this place? Why has she been right most of the time? Does she know about the Quantum Disruption? No, there had to be some level-headed explanation for this. Perhaps she just… ugh, it isn’t important. It would just be easier to ask.
”Well, since this seems like a calm period, I have to ask; who exactly are you? You seem pretty dedicated to helping me get back home, are you rebelling against those you work for? Or do you… Agh, this whole shitshow has left me absolutely speechless. You were there when I was a lab rat, and now you are here? I don’t know how this “quantum disruption” works, it could have been coincidence that we are both here. Any information you could tell would help, even if it’s only a little bit.
SAM turns to monitor the display, still talking to Fanny.
”...and how do you know the location of my home?”
SAM asks with an air of suspicion.
///ENDING MEMORY RECORDING. . .
