Quill [@jetipster] - Svieland ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Quill was smiling as the trinket was thrown into the air. He often enjoyed his own creations. However, he was internally screaming. Perhaps this was the time to tell the truth, however he already gotten this far. In addition, this was no time for hesitation, he would need to move forward and worry about the pesky consequences later. He needed a god who would foolishly give gifts to mortals, and then possibly forget about that mortal. Which sounded like something that he might have done, but he couldn't use his own divine name. By time the horse had fully formed, he had constructed his story. He was pleased that stranger focused on the gift and the god, and then he was asked what his name was. In his haste, he forgotten about a human name. He reached for the other man's hand to help him on the mount. He could easily mount a horse. He could also fly if he had wanted, but that seemed inappropriate at the moment. He used this brief time to think back to his former travel companions. Most of their names were a blur, but one stood out and he surely would not mind him borrowing his name, "My name is Gerald." He then remembered that while he taken that name from a human, that human originated in a different place than here. Location was sometime a difficult concept for Quill to grasp, however he could work it into his story, "I am sorry for my deceptions, but I hope you see they were necessary. The truth is that I am rather far from home. The gifts bestowed upon come from the most generous god, Ral. My worship is the reason that I have ventured so far north. I had heard rumor that one of his most divine relics was hidden within the frozen landscape. As a loyal follower, it is my duty to ensure that such a powerful relic is not abused. I did not know if you were in possession of the artifact, and that I still don't know. However, if you do have it in your possession, it must be in good hands."
