[@FalkiThomas]I know Griffin and the captain are at the top of the stairs. But this indicates he atleast made it into the tavern area:

This would put Isago and Ratte outside. Maybe on their way into a side or second entrance but they shouldn't be able to see the two in the basement.  I think.
