Quill [@jetipster] - Svieland ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ For a few brief, fleeting moments, Quill was content. The nagging, bothersome questions had ended. All that was left was a tranquil horse ride across the ice and snow. The stranger had also given him a name, Renvo. He doubted that was his real name, but Quill was never much for real names, even barring the current situation. A chosen name always felt more important than a given name. Then, Renvo ruined the whole scene. He had to bring up the end of the journey. Quill never minded having a journey come to an end, but he never really liked to talk about it before it happened. Quill also tended to avoid the machinations of the gods, they were always to messy and complicated. However, his curiosity had started to get the better of him, however it was going to get further entangled into this mess, he would need great protection against detection. As they traveled across this land, Quill used his divine presence in order to sneakily weave power into his clothing so that no being could see his true nature. He would love to change his eye color, but Renvo had already seen his true eye color. Not only that, but he simply did not know how. However the power of travel is forever fleeting, but it should last at least a day or two. While a part of him wanted to simply see him part ways without any consequences, a greater part of him wanted to see what lurked ahead. He began to casually speak to himself with full intention for Renvo to hear him, "I am fearful my journey would end in an abrupt manner. Maybe it would be better for the relic to be lost to time itself, but what if a cruel or mad god had managed to obtain it. I am fearful of what they made do with my master's tool. But how is one mortal suppose to oppose the will of the god." He then paused, and feigned as though he had caught himself speaking aloud, "I am sorry, was I speaking aloud. Sometimes my lips follow where ever my mind wanders to. It such a bad habit."
