With whom did you forge a deeper bond? Professor Everose - Aya has come to rely on the professor and looks up to her most out of all the teachers at the institute. She sees the professor as a mentor and a confidant. Uná - Aya's roommate is a sweet, chipper girl, and the two get along well. Luckily there have been no serious incidents at night with regards to Uná's powers, though on several occasions she's dragged Aya out for a nighttime run. Danny - Danny and Aya get along swimmingly, two quiet, awkward peas in a pod. Most lunch periods Aya can be found sitting with him and Lily. Drake - Aya's most complicated relationship is with Drake. After a few starts and stops, the two have formed a wary, emotionally intimate sort of relationship. Aya's also dealing with a little crush that she hasn't quite managed to tamp down on yet. Sally - An unexpected relationship, Aya and Sally get along surprisingly well, after being assigned as project partners for a class. Jason - Aya doesn't know Jason particularly well, but the time they've spent together has been quiet and companionable. Did your powers grow? How? Since coming to the Ashford Institute her powers Aya is gaining more control. She can now activate her powers on command, though it's not always perfect, and she only very rarely uses her powers on accident. She can now also maintain a sense of awareness over her body if she deliberately uses her powers -- she can hear sounds and feel whatever her body goes through physically to a certain degree. Differentiating the sensations -- whether they originate from her spirit or her body -- is still a bit tricky, but progress is being made. Did you have problems with other students? Aya is anti-confrontational by nature, so even if she did take issue with a student she'd never say it. The closest she's come to having an actual problem with someone else was when she and Drake fell out of touch for a brief time following the incident in the library, but the two have since made up. Everyone had weekly sessions in the Danger Room under the guidance of the staff. Everyone except Aya, that is. Because Aya's abilities aren't physical in nature, Aya has been exempt from the Danger Room, much to her relief. Instead, she has weekly meetings with Professor Everose, which serve as both training and counseling sessions.
