This rp definitely tickles my fancy. I'm thinking I'll probably throw in one of two ideas into the mix. Here's a couple of abbreviated summaries:

A physically powerful but mentally slow yet needlessly optimistic undead that fights with a boat anchor she drug around the ocean floor for thousands of years. She's been re-reanimated after falling in the battle against the darkness consuming the lands that she fought mostly on a whim.

A hemomancer who was banished from his universe for his heinous crimes to a world where the earth is under eternal night and vampires rule the lands. Trapped in a land of monsters he honed his talents hunting vampires and other creatures of the night. When the invading forces attacked this land he was defeated and the land laid to waste, the greater darkness consuming the lesser.
