AA New Member Form Please fill out this form and bring to your first meeting. Personal Information Name (please include any nicknames): Kyle Rosenburg Age: 22 Gender: Male Occupation: I'm between jobs at the moment. If anyone is looking for someone who can barely walk but has an art degree, call me. Neighborhood or Borough in Which You Reside: Chinatown Questionnaire Note: These questions are for research purposes only. Please respond honestly, completely and without omissions. Describe the nature of your Atypical abilities. Okay, so....This is gonna sound a little crazy, but I can kind of possess people? Like, I leave my body and enter theirs and take control of them, like some kinda ghost or demon or something? I don't really understand it too well yet, but I did it twice by accident and then once on purpose. I can only do it with people who are closeby, because the brief moments of going between bodies get a lot less brief and a lot more painful the further apart we are. I dunno, I've not exactly been testing it out so far. My own body seems to just fall unconscious when I do this, though. Briefly describe the series of events that led to who, what and where you are today. Okay, so I had kind of a near-death experience a couple months ago. I was working as a delivery driver (or I guess a delivery cyclist) and got hit by a taxi and had one of those out-of-body experiences where I was watching my body as the doctors worked on me, and it was the scariest thing I'd ever experienced until I woke up in hospital a week later and realised I had woken up in a body which wasn't mine! It was only for a couple minutes before that coma patient collapsed and I went screaming back to my own unresponsive body, but...Yeah, it was pretty freaky. I'm out of hospital now, though my doctors tell me I won't be able to ride a bike or do much of anything physical for a while so I'm mostly on bedrest. Since I left the hospital, I accidentally possessed my friend's chihuahua for 7 hours (unpleasant, do not recommend) and then in order to get back to my own body I intentionally possessed my friend so I could drive back to my house. I feel bad about it, 'cause I kind of screwed with the nature of free will and stuff, but when she got control back from me she didn't seem to even realise I'd been in control for the past 40 minutes. It's creepy, I know. How would you describe your appearance to someone who is blind? Well, I'm 5'8 with curly brown hair, pale skin and a sorta skinny build (some have called me gaunt). I've got some patchy facial hair and the most noticeable fashion statement I'm rocking atm is my cane. It's for walking, my legs still aren't great. I'm also super handsome, just trust me on that. How would you describe your personality? Likes and Dislikes? I'm usually a pretty easy-going guy, I like indie music, drawing pictures of pigeons, being able to afford my medical bills (oh wait I super cannot do that last one) and I definitely dislike being an 8-inch tall rodent in a dog costume who doesn't even have thumbs! (Seriously, I cannot stress enough how awful it is to be a chihuahua. I'd take getting hit by a car any day. We should apologise for breeding them into existence) What is your current state of mind? Pretty bad?? Like I'm looking at a life of back pain and needing a cane to walk, and to top all of that off now I'm some kind of haunted. It's not ideal?? If your current place of residence was destroyed under mysterious circumstances, which of your belongings would you attempt to recover from the rubble? I mean, I shouldn't be moving rubble with my back, but I guess I'd want to get my artbooks. Maybe my Nintendo Switch. This question feels overtly threatening. What is making you happy right now? Well. That's a great question.....I guess my neighbour, Mrs Zhang. When she heard about the accident she came and visited me in hospital a bunch, and she comes round every few days when I'm stuck inside and keeps me company. I get the impression that I'm also keeping her company when she does this, but I'm glad for it. Also she makes amazing dumplings. How did you hear about AA, and what made you want to attend?, There was a flyer that came through my door, I dunno who put it through there but nobody else in my building seemed to get one. I'm like 30% certain that this is some kind of trap and I'm gonna end up murdered in the back of a van but after what happened to me I kinda can't turn down the opportunity to find out more. What is your greatest fear? If I die....do I stop existing? Or will I just possess someone nearby and become some kind of bodysnatching horror villain...? If you could give up your atypical abilities, would you? Yeah, I mean, I wanna say yes for certain. I do sometimes have the thought that I could just go back to the hospital and get coma-guy back on his feet again, it would be great to just be back in a regular pain-free body even just for a little while..but that has gotta be unethical, right? I shouldn't be tempted. Please suggest any refreshments you'd like to see at the next AA meeting. Is it weird to ask for milk? I'm technically lactose intolerant but I love the stuff and stomach pain is the least of my problems at this point.
