-Darius is the father of Valkyrie. He tends to be really protective over her, even though often times his treatment of her seems harsh. He has done a lot of things to makes sure she stays safe and nothing happens to her the way it did to him. He has made sure that she cannot be bound by branding her when she was very young, and did this because he has been bound himself. 

-He is a very reclusive person. He hardly ever leaves the tribe unless it is deemed absolutely necessary, and he would much rather leave the world to fall apart around them than try to help. It is one of the laws of the Djinn that he agrees with the most because going to war has the potential to wipe out their entire race, since there are so few of them.

-He is extremely racist, especially towards witches/warlocks and anything that is a hybrid of them. It's ironic because his daughter is half witch, but it's because of her mother he is this way. He is also extremely close minded and sticks to Djinn tradition to the point has made it clear he doesn't like his daughter's best friend, Siddiq because of his hybrid status and his homosexuality.[/center]
