That actually doesn't sound like my problem or anyone else's. This is a role play and people post true to the character they are playing. It's not something you're meant to be stressing about. If you're having a problem getting a little creative about this then no one else should be expected to it for you. It's not my character so I'm not gonna tell ya how to play him.  

If your character doesn't have a natural response to walking to the mess hall, then maybe standing there and looking into space is more fitting for him lol
