[indent][i]Damaged and tortured by the Fire Nation soldiers, Hiroyuki obtained a large variety of scars. He had collected a long gash on his back thanks to a poor but successful attempt at escaping when he was younger and this is accomapinied by multiple lashes from whips that was obtained when he was older. He also has multiple healed burn scars on his torso and a nasty one on his left leg. He has smaller cuts on his arms and legs.[/i][/indent][/indent]

[indent][i]Prior to being imprisoned, Hiroyuki does try to keep himself as clean as possible even as a revolutionary. He wears Water Tribe traditional clothing but has opted to not wear his parka as he does not need it in the heat of the places in between his kingdoms. Even then, his clothing has always been practical and would never hinder him in his movements - which he still holds up true to this day.[/i][/indent][/indent]

He is often seen to be silent and a man of few words but has been known to converse when he feels like the mood is right. He is rather stubborn in his position against the Fire Nation and it was only fueled by the attack of the Fire Nation against the Air Nomads. He is a man with a point to prove and a vengeance to enact - and he will not stop at anything short of death to break free from the terror that the Fire Nation has placed upon the people of their world.[/i][/indent][/indent]

[indent][i]For the most part, Hiroyuki does keep still and tries not to put out anything that would indicate any of his thoughts thanks to months of imprisonment in the Fire Nation. However, he does crack his knuckles when he is deep in his thoughts. He also constantly reaches to his wrist and rubs it whenever he feels particularly nervous. He also flinches when someoen touches him.[/i][/indent][/indent]

[indent][i]Hiroyuki always loved escaping his house during the night and simply watching the night sky and listen to the soft laps of waves. Ever since leaving the Northern Pole, he simply enjoys the cold embrace of the darkness of the night. He also loves sketching and has been seen attempting to recreate the night sky and the kingdom lines from afar. He also loves hearing lullabies but rarely sings any of it himself unless he absolutely needs to. He has a particular hatred towards the Fire Nation but this is more directed at the Fire Lord more than the soldiers. He also doesn't like the heat but that's mostly because of how he grew up. He also does not like to be touched unless the person touching him has been given permission to do so.[/i][/indent][/indent]

[indent][i]Born and raised in the Northern Water Tribe and to two loving parents, Hiroyuki lived a rather peaceful and calming life. He had always been a quiet one but he was also passionate. He always did his best in his lessons and shaped up to be an amazing waterbender, much to the glee of his parents. He trained under the tutelage of a master waterbender and continued on to become a well-known duelist with an unorthodox type of fighting style. Never one to rebel, there were little reasons for his parents to ever be angry with him. In such a small kingdom, he was bound to have friends and Hiroyuki often wishes to go back to the simpler times. 

When he was a teen, his marriage had been decided to a teen his age named Yuzuki Ilya. They were displeased at first but grew to like each other as companions and decided that marriage may not be as bad as they thought. Despite his aversion to touch, he has given way to Yuzuki and bore their first child at 21 named Ayumi. Young as they may be, the two were good parents to young Ayumi and taught her to be kind and helpful just like how their parents thought them.[/i][/indent][/indent]

[indent][i]He has good standing relations with his family - with both his parents and his wife and child. He had been thoroughly content about this up until the word of the Fire Nation had come to their home. Hiroyuki deemed that it would only be right to join a group of revolutionaries, much to the horror of his wife and child. But they had come to understand when he pleaded that they should never live under fear of being taken away or being killed off like the Air Nomads. He went off with the others to plant seeds of revolutions and stave off the Fire Nation. Most days were spent camping outside kingdoms and outside the range of the Fire Nation patrols and then striking when the time is right before running away to regroup.[/i][/indent][/indent]

[indent][i]Hiroyuki wants nothing more than the peaceful world they once lived in. It was not perfect, of course not, but it was better than the constant war they are in. Once the revolution is over and the Fire Lord is thrown out of the picture, he wishes to go back to his family and settle down once more. He will always fight for freedom, but while there is no one to fight, he will be spending time with his family and his friends.[/i][/indent][/indent]

In one of their skirmishes, something went wrong - as it mostly does - and Hiroyuki diverted attention to him to allow most of the group to escape and he was promptly arrested.
