She knew a place where she could sell the pelts and meat for some extra coin. She came up to a young woman with an eyepatch who looked at Dulga and smirked. “Rough night?” Dulga just grunted and started to load the hides and meat onto the counter. The woman simply looked over the hides and meat, putting the bones aside into a waste bin, and calculated the total. The money was… Not much, but it would help supply her income a little. She saved a bit of meat for herself as Dulga used most of her money to buy a hotel room for herself tonight, to rest up for the journey back to school. She would have stayed but… It wasn’t safe at home anymore. Early the next day, before the sun would rise, Dulga would drive all the way back to Komei. She made sure to buy extra gas, food, and a portable charger for her phone so she had a GPS. The drive back will give her time to think more about what she needed to do to improve herself. What actions to take, how to train herself, and what to do with the others. If there was one thing she learned from the wolves was that together they were more than a threat to her. Even if she was able to take out a few of them, they ultimately left Dulga alive when they could have easily taken her down. That sort of pitiful mercy that made her blood boil. But they had a point; teamwork would be needed to defeat more powerful enemies. Dulga hated the idea of needing to rely on others. But she was open to ideas. [hr] Since returning to Komei, Dulga didn’t really see anyone, not even the ones who just came back from the hospital. While she told herself she needed to work on teamwork, she also knew she had to improve her own strength too. For starters, she needed to learn how to rely less on her guns. This was the hardest part for her; using her mother’s firearms were all she knew and without them she felt naked like a baby. Even though she had super strength, Dulga knew no martial arts or fancy hand-to-hand techniques. Her fight with Mina made that abundantly clear; all she did was swing wildly at Mina and the worse she managed to do was get one slam on her. Dulga knew she couldn’t master anything fancy like judo or karate anytime soon, but maybe she could learn how to use her strength more cunningly. At the very least, in some way that might give her an edge if someone catches her by surprise. As Dulga woke up she started her morning routine as usual; wake up, go use the bathroom, go back to her room to dress for the day. They needed to turn in homework tomorrow and Dulga hasn’t touched it since last friday, but she was slowly starting to care less about class assignments. Just training and preparations. She needed to head to the Support class and see about getting a replacement for her broken pistol. Something “Nonlethal” so she doesn’t have to keep being bothered about shooting people. But first she needed to hit up the training room. She grabbed a quick breakfast consisting of a protein bar and water before leaving the dorms. Before she had left Hokkido, she had brought three pairs of impact gloves from a military surplus store. While she had gloves before these gloves had added padding on the palm and fingers; they will be very important for what she was planning to do for today’s training.
